  3. Knew a woman who'ed be hauling bags of cat food in the back of her truck. Sh'ed go out and feed strays.
    The bags would get damp and she kept them covered with a tarp.
    She went to buy more food but had half bag left, offered it to me. I knew what to look for, yep mold. I took it to trash just so to save some cats.
    I can't help but wonder if this is an avenue to exterminate the feral cat issue.

  4. I preach to ppl, don't leave pet food in your car hauling it around through the summer heat. This creates these toxins. These ppl will haul it around for days before donating to food banks and animal shelters. Same goes for food for people.

  5. I am back I am back you know I lost my beloved baby Bones on the 1st afraid to adopt the beloved animal another animal may have cancer or something like that we're back in the area where where I could be took my animal and you could have helped him or make the decisions

  6. two dogs in my life first dog had a weird disease they had water in its lungs and it water in his lungs and go back to the area told me that there was only two two of the kind in practice so I am afraid to adopt another dog because my beloved baby died of cancer that's why chicken dogs I wish you could tell me what is your best dog that you will be help you for me in the world

  11. DR. JONES: Please NOTE: Someone needs to take so much stuff off the market, including chemicals to feed your dog ONLY to make it easier to pick up their poop off their lawns! UGH !! Please look into this! I spotted the stuff on a bottom shelf of “Pet Supplies Plus”, a pet supplies chain store in Connecticut, and I’m certain, nationwide. THANKS!

  12. Help. I stupidly gave my tiny dog the last of a soup someone sent me. It probably had onions in it. He has been throwing up since and been low appetite. Been 24 hours plus now. Will take him to local vet tomorrow for hopefully charcoal. I feel so negligent.

  13. Would you be willing to do a short consult? I don’t mind paying. we had a great veterinarian but had to move and have had a very difficult time finding a veterinarian we trust. Our Weimaraner who’s turning 11 later this month Frequently has a cough first thing in the morning before eating then it goes away. It’s kinda like a exhale not what I would call a normal cough. We have done multiple blood tests and several x-rays and everything looks normal. Now we have been referred to do a broncoscopy Which we got a consult an estimate of $4100. Which unfortunately is not something I can handle. We have also tried omeprazole and one course of antibiotic I believe Amoxicillin because the doctor thought maybe kennel cough. He has no other symptoms. We just have some questions that we want to ask someone that we trust and we’ve watched you for years and feel that you’re an honest person and we value your opinion.   19. What causes Peritonitis in Dogs. My dogs just experienced this and passed away. His stomach was abcessed and he had an abcess on his esophagus. What could cause an infection so severe? I am devastated 😓

I am so glad I ran across this video because I just purchased Earth's born holistic lamb meal recipe antartic krill meal treats for my dog, and she was lethargic, shaking and looked very sad and we couldn't figure out why. She loves their soft treats and I haven't had an issue with those but these hard treats is when we noticed that she was shaking

  24. @Veterinary Secrets i happened across your videos because someone shared about you… 2020/2021 this was the main brand both our dogs were on (Earthborn holistic). They both became sick in February 2021 with food poisoning. We never knew there was a recall (for the salmonella) until late March, for which we received a refund from Chewy. This was the only recourse we have received. Our 6 yo had subsequent 'infections' draining through his lymphs down his hind leg, and our now 2 yo ended up with 'Cushings', which is a rarity for dogs this age. Combined vet bills for them last year were around $5,000 for two visits between them both. To this day, they are both still experiencing health issues, but the younger one is worse. Vets in this area have not been helpful so much – they are mainly driven to give medicines that compound the problems.

  25. Give me a great dog food in your opinion I understand to help our babies get healthier again! I’m tired of all the crap dog food out there! I do know some dog foods are good!
    I do not know which ones! This is what I’m looking for! Thx so much you are truly a blessing I found your channel! If you could just post a list of great dog foods in your opinion for us out here!!! Very much needed! Thank You 🙏🏻

  27. My two dogs love the dry food ultra for adult dogs. We give it to them after they have eaten the food that we cook we do not give our girls any other kind of food except for the food we cook for them but they do love their dry food after they're done eating, to your knowledge do you know it ultra is a good a reliable product? I would appreciate a response, PLEASE. Thank you so much. Patricia

  28. My dog got really really blocked on that earthborn she was never in 11 years as sick as she was on that food that was recommended by a friend from a pet store rep she didn't listen to me and still feeds her dog that crap

  29. I actually just went through this with the Blue Buffalo lamb and potato wet dog food. Although symptoms dog had this was three weeks ago she died and I had to report it to the FDA how sickening is it

  33. the pet food industry dont care, and if we are a massive group of consumers dont stand up and take action as a large group the pet food industry AFFCO and the FDA will do nothing to protect our pets! Its a greedy and corrupt industry that uses its lobbyist powers and influence on our congressmen and senators. Even most vets have no clue what is in these foods, most vets are not animal nutritionists. Money talks! The only way to demand change is to affect their bottom line, people forget as a whole the consumer has more power than congress to change the industry simply by demanding transparency, better regulation, and oversight or they will boycott. nothing motivates a greedy industry more than knowing a boycott is on the horizon.

Thank you very much, I wish I had seen this sooner, even though I don't have a dog, I have friends who do & the last buddy girl I had was killed by tainted food, which I didn't find out about for 3 months after I had to put her down….which essentially crushed me for years… anyways, thank you again.

  38. Our dog had seizures. We removed the dog snack Purina Adventuros Boar Nuggets 5 months ago and haven't had any seizures since. We're still in monitoring mode.
