  1. Hi Doc, what a WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL PERSON YOU ARE!!! I have tried signing up for your newsletter & free e-book, but neither time did I get a confirmation email so that it would complete….I do think there is every possibility that google is censoring your email traffic from your site…just a head's up on that. The ones who rule this world are not into having healthy ,intelligent opponents .I think the events of recent months past should make that painfully clear….Just FYI on that.

  2. What are we suppose to do about this? What is wrong with the ones who are paid to make sure our pet food has what is should have? They do our pets as they are currently doing us..this world is such a horrible place….

  3. Just saw this video and I am not shocked at this. They don't care. It's all about the money. I am turning to homemade food but I have a lot of dogs and it will get expensive. If I do homemade what additional what else do I need to add for vitamins and minerals? Thank you for all you do. I take your advice to heart. Thank you.

  4. Thank you for sharing & reinforcing this msg, so appreciate this info. Have been feeding my dog on a home cooked diet for a while now, part raw food also, def notice the difference. Thank you for all the great videos you are putting out really enjoy them. Tula is sooo cute!

  5. I feed my overweight Min-Pin Pedigree Healthy Weight Complete Nutrition. I feed him 1/2 cup 3 times a day and he is not losing weight. His thyroid functioning is at correct levels. He is now 7 years old and I am told I should switch him to senior food. Is this correct??? Will it cause him to gain more weight??? Thank you

  6. We are rotating their diet because after a few weeks of raw food our dogs start hating it so we get together and cook up a big batch of homemade stew with veggies and meats. The frozen portions last for 2-3 weeks. We feed whole food type kibble too, but only in moderation.

  7. Thank you for this video. I researched a new food being pushed by veterinarians called Hydrolyzed Protein & found it contained aluminum & wood pulp & other ingredients that were questionable. Personally, I go with limited ingredients (that I can pronounce), dehydrated raw, raw or home cooked meals.

  8. Dr. Jones, in the US they found heavy and toxic metals in fruit juice, even in the Organic Juice. I never gave my kids juice, thank goodness. Not much is safe today😢 not for us or our Dogs and Cats!

  9. Dr Jones I went on a scavenger hunt. I already use a few of these things. Many of these ideas can be used on your dog. A dogs body will detox on it's own to start with. One of the first signs of a toxin in the body is a skin rash. So if you are feeding your dog a toxic dog food they will continue to attempt to detox the poisons. First thing to do is get rid of the toxic dog food. Many of these ideas can be used on your dog. If you want to help your dog a number of these things will help. Detox slowly. Never be in a rush or the rash etc will get worse. So don't be in a hurry. Many of these ideas can be used on your dog. Don't use all of them at once either. Start small and work your way up. Keep in mind the amounts you use, must be made smaller according to your dogs weight. Start tiny. Many of these ideas can be used on your dog. Algae is a great one to start with.I use to do Super Blue Green algae. Great stuff. A friend of mine took way to much to start with and kind of turned beat read. LOL He thought more would be better. Giggle. Maybe you can come up with something appropriate for pets. If it works on humans it will work for our pets too. We just want to make sure it suits them.I know my dog was detoxing when he broke out. His body told the stuff to get out big time. https://draxe.com/heavy-metal-detox/

  10. My pet dog have been diagnosed with distemper. She's active and eating and drinking a lot though. But she got this jaw chattering thing. Anybody knows what to do? I'm so worried for my dog's life.

  11. I use to make home made dog food for my chow chow now I feed her Taste of the Wild Venison and Bison dry and mix it up on the canned food also add a bit of coconut oil to her food a few times a week.
She was in for a checkup and rabies shot on the 24th the vet said I can't find a thing wrong with her keep doing what your doing they tell me that every year when I take her in for her checkup.

  12. Could you please do a video on Pannus, and if there is any alternatives to use besides Optimmune, because it cost's so much money, and I don't want my dog to go blind. Please help.

  13. The one dislike must be from pet food manufacturer.
My dog kept having diarrhea when we gave him dry food. Partly because he was getting older and his immune system was not as good as before. We then switched to home cook food. That fixed the problem. We didn’t know the food was poisoning him all along.

  14. I checked brands I’ve been using. Holistic, high end brands. They don’t test any better except in ingredient quality, than the cheap stuff. I’m making everything homemade from now on. Thank you, Dr Jones! This is why you are number 1 on YouTube in natural pet care.

  15. More proof the pet food industry is crap. Years ago I bought a book “Food Pets Die For”, and was shocked and disgusted at the garbage they allow in commercial pet foods. The government does not care about the health of animals. At least not even close enough. The pet food industry is mainly about making money more than producing a healthy food for pets. With the exception of a very few.

  16. Can you make a video on vitamins, cause simply giving your dog chicken every day or any meat on its own wont be nutrient dense enough or provide all the necessary vitamins right? And i used to feed my dogs home made food in addition to some kibble to try and ensure they were getting all their vitamins but i fed too much liver without knowing the risk. It would be great if you could talk more about home made diets that arent raw and what to watch out for but also what to make sure is included.

  17. I feed my dog chicken, chicken livers, pork liver, British Game Casserole which is Diced venison, pheasant and partridge sold by Sainsburys U.K. – turkey and occasionally beef – topside – she is not keen on kibble although I do give her a bowl of Lilys Kitchen kibble just in case she feels like biscuits – this is a high quality dog food with duck, venison, salmon oil and various herbs. Occasionally she has small pieces of organic cheddar cheese.
Hopefully she will have a long and healthy life.

  18. I recall also reading a report that was done a good few years ago, it stated that traces of vaccines from farm animals were in the food, and also, which breaks my heart, euthanised animals…sigh. I now feed my dog's raw dog food, regulated by DEFRA here in UK. This is a great video👍 thanks
