  1. I avoid my vets as much as possible. It shocks me the amount of people that have monthly checkups/prescriptions for fleas, worms etc. it’s so so unnecessary.
    You are someone I constantly recommend to my clients (I’m a dog trainer) to listen to if they have some issue with their dogs health.

  2. I friggin love your channel, doc! The Pharma industry cares even less for our pets' health than ours, and that's saying something. I truly appreciate all the tips and advice you give that makes life better for our furry friends.

  3. There is nothing wrong with rimadyl. Any drug can be dangerous if misused. It was intended for short term mild to moderate pain. It replaced the use of aspirin that was commonly used. My dog died from aspirin gastric ulcers , hemorrhaging all her blood from her stomach. I predict long term use of cannabinoids will have side effects = dementia .

  5. Give garlic in peanut butter or cheese for fleas or worms. They hate garlic and leave. Use borax all over your home and wait 24 hrs. then vacuum up. Kills fleas.

  7. Thank you for this. My vet put my Frenchie on Apoquel.. He has thrown up twice. When I called they said to stop giving it to him and see if he gets better. I'm tossing it out! Last year Sympirica caused him to have seizures. When I called corporate and reported it, they refunded my money. I wonder if they are going to pay for future treatment? Loss of quality of life?

  11. I cant get my bulldogs foot to stop bleeding! Its been swollen anf she will no lomger walk on it, took her to the vet and he put her on 3 rounds of antibiotics! And said hope for the best amd if it doesn't work then we will need to do biopsies and labwork, i love my girl but they just keep trying pump money when there is none! He said he thought it's a nasty bacterial infection please help im at a total loss…🤷‍♀️

  14. I have been using Sentinel for years and never had a problem. My question is: just received 2 new boxes of six for each dog. It seems since I gave them both the same day about 6 days ago they both are having really bad DIARRHEA. Taking them out all the time. Is it possible that this could be causing their problem ?
    I took one to the vet and they gave pills. I have rescued so many dogs and some felines but this has given me much concern. Thanks !

  17. My newly adopted beautiful doggie either has environmental or food allergies or both. I am going to get her some local honey this week at the Farmer’s market.
    I feel like I was so ignorant with all my other beloved pet kids. I wish I could go back and change their treatment when they were sick/had health issues. Maybe they would have lived longer.

  18. Hi! I just came across your YouTube account and am so grateful I did! I have been recently dealing with fleas on my indoor cat. I was recommended bravecto, but after seeing this video am unsure what to do. Is bravecto for dogs different than the one for cats in terms of the side effects?
    What would you recommend me doing to help get rid of the many fleas on my cat.
