  1. I saw your video if your dog is coughing to give elderberry syrup by Suro, that worked so quickly on my Roxy her cough went away like like 3 days and she actually liked the taste

  2. I just started using elderberry for myself & will def apply to my cats! Thanks for this info! I’m new to your channel & am going to the store now to apply a lot of your recommendations I pray help when the expensive vet visits haven’t yet

  3. My kitten has herpesvirus, was going to make elderberry syrup tomorrow and try it with him! What's the dosage? We use it everytime we have a cold coming on and it never fails to knock it out within 24/48 hours, we love elderberry syrup!!

  4. My cats have the herpes and no cure so i have struggled so much with this virus and i have lost some of my cat to the virus because my located vet could only do so much and i could only do so much too; horrible virus horrible; thank you for this video sound great going to try it out. I really hope it will work for my cats.

  5. Hi Dr. Jones, Love your videos and natural approach to dog parenting! I think my 5 month old chocolate lab is sensitive to chicken. Every food I have tried Taste of the Wild, Blue Wilderness, Hills Prescription Science Diet i/d (worst of all), and now Nutro have not improved his mushy to down right puddle poops. He also developed a yeast infection in one ear that I cleared up after watching one of your other videos. I have been sprinkling slippery elm on his meals, which helps, but I don't want to have to do this forever. Today I ordered him Victor Yukon River Salmon and Sweet Potato, it's All Life Stages so what I want to know is is that actually good to feed a puppy and what calcium level should I be looking at too, since from what I understand is supposed to increase the hip dysplasia risk. Victor has a calcium amount of 1.78%

  6. When I use the dried berry of the black elder I put an ounce in a quart jar and fill with boiling water and let sit for four hours to let all that good stuff extract out into the water. I have never given any to my cats, but this base is what I use to make my syrup or jelly. Just thought I'd share for anyone who may be interested. I love elderberries!

  7. Can this be given with echinacea and/or goldenseal?! My poor babies currently have the flu, sadly one brought it home from the vet office & it spread from there. Also do you recommend anything other than honey a severe cough? Or anything to help open the airways? My chihuahua is getting old & it seems to be affecting him most unfortunately, & I can't find an office that will see him because its so highly contagious. Elderberry is also a great natural remedy for cold sores or fever blisters. As a pharm tech I've been told it doesn't have the awful effects anti viral drugs do, & it cuts healing time in half!

  8. Hi Doctor, I love your videos. Thank you so much for making them. I'm pretty experiences in herbal healing & natural health in humans & it seems that much of it also applies to dogs. I didn't know where else to post a question to you so please forgive me if this is not the right place. Do you feel that black walnut is safe for dogs in the correct amount? Does it prevent or cure heart worms? If so, what is the correct dosage? I lost my 20 y.o. pug dog last weekend and my younger, 9 y.o. dog is now coughing after exercise. She is also having low energy. I know she also senses the loss, however I'm sure it's more than that. My 20 y.o. also had a cough which kept coming back. Her death was unexpected and she seized and stopped breathing in the middle of the night. The younger dog is seeing a vet in January, no sooner appointment open, however I feel like this needs attention more urgently. I would pay for a few minute chat, even video chat with you if that's a possibility. Looking forward to checking out some of your materials as a Christmas present to myself. Thanks again. Any advice is appreciated.

  9. Hi. Do you have a video on naturally treating overgrowth skin yeast infections on dogs. If not can you please do so. I have a 9 year old pittbull who suffers from seasonal allergies and now has a overgrowth of yeast. I tried medical shampoos, giving her coconut oil in her food and on skin. Seems to help a little so far but the itching continues and the redness are still there. Plus i just got done treating her ear infection. Which she constantly gets from these allergies.

  10. Dr. I would like to set up a fund so you and other colleagues can study, research and develop a new diuretic that actually works. So we can extend the life of our pets. I will appreciate if you email me. I think we can make a medicinal discovery.

  13. Thank you soooo much for this , ours are gone now in the U.K. , will have to order . I have a rescue dog who's ears are really infected , ive cleared one changing her diet , but she eats her poo she was in a cage with a big dog next door with a small run . The lady that took care of her forgot to feed her due to health problems when she did the bigger dog eat all her food , so she eat poo and drank her wee , she still does this at times now , and this is what has cause her ear problems . She has yeast problems ,when she eats any rice wheat oats any filler . So now I make my own food low in fat beef , chicken and kidney , no lamb and pork which gives runny poo , I put egg organic shells crushed herbs and turmeric powder , and banana apple and carrot and melons for treat s , ( I cook the meat it make her poo if not) , but with doing this , one ear has cleared up and she is not smelling of yeast . Thank you again .
