  1. My mum would always give us warm milk with garlic in it a lemon and honey when we were sick milk and garlic was disgusting but the next day you would be perfectly well.

  2. OK, so the recipe is just for 1 cup of boiling milk add:
    1/4 teaspoon turmeric
    1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
    pinch saffron
    and optionally some sugar if you want it sweet.

    Stir and serve warm. That's it, right? o:

  3. This is true, i’ve been taking turmeric caps twice daily, usually i get sick during winter season, but not this year, husband and roommate are now taking it too and none of us have seen the doctor this year.

  4. Alot of cultures seem to have food developed specifically on survival needs and practicallity in their environment. It's only natural that this is a part of what people do. People find the best way to work with their environment, that's why they survive, so of course, even if it's not a replacement for more advanced medicine or traditional medicine it would be foolish to think that a healthy diet had nothing to do with health. Like if you went around eating raw eggs and uncooked meat all the time, you'd probably need more antibiotics.
