  1. Hi Doc, I have a 4 year old male Bengal who pee pi’s on couch every day and lately not so much. He is fine said by a veterinarian and no infections or blockages in urinary tract or bladder. So is it emotional or now depression. I don’t want to give him away. I spray and clean my couch and put plastic cover in it now. He gave me Prozac but no one can get near him to give him pills. He is so scared of everything in house, noise and especially fire works. I have 2 other cats but they are fine. I thought it was the other cat but no. They are all boys. Don’t know what to do.

  2. I honestly think all animals feel a wide range of emotions just like us humans do. Thank you Dr. Jones for all of your informative videos on how to help our animal friends!☺️👍

  3. Mine has taken to wearing a motorcycle jacket, smoking tobacco and doing opioids. His grades have dropped in school and he's resistant to treatment.

  4. Can you please recommend a good food for pancreatitis? His levels are at 20… i have been feeding him selected pd royal canin cat food

  5. i just adopted a cat that bounced around in shelters all his 7 years and i used the calming phermone spray from relaxavet. it really helped a lot. i hear lavandar has good effects on cats. anyone know if this is true?

  6. My cat is very concerned about the recession and inflation… I guess you could say yes, he is depressed.
In all seriousness tho, I'd try your tips if I had a cat. Right now, just a dog but I really appreciate your channel and expertise.

  7. I didn’t think that lavender essential was good for cats. Not disputing your word at all, I must have misunderstood. Thank you so much. I think my cat may be depressed as well. I just took her for testing yesterday. She had an infection, but other than that her blood work was good.

  8. My one year old male kitten named Winky has been acting a bit different since my dog died 5 weeks ago. We had to put my female Iggy to sleep because of a tumor and she was 15 years old. But my cat LOVED her. He’d play with her all the time!!

A few days ago I found a cat poop in the living room a couple days after I returned from a two night trip. I left him home alone and my sister came over once to check on him and feed him. He was mad when I came back and lectured me for 15 minutes straight by meowing.

He seems a little depressed lately and obviously I’m still grieving my puppy. When my dog died the cat barely ate anything for a few days.

Do you know how long typically grief lasts for cats? I noticed even when I go to bed and leave the cat outside the bedroom I’ll get up in the middle of the night and Winky will wake up and see me and run over like I’ve been gone a week. Poor guy! I think he still misses his fur sister 🥲🥲🥲

I’m gonna try the catnip and and more play time 💞

  9. I had one of my cats at the Vet yesterday. I saw a business card from a Holistic Vet on the board. I thought that was pretty cool. But I'll stick to my online vet Dr. Jones. I've tried a few of his skin care remedies for my dogs and they work very well. Better than the over the counter shampoos and what nots that cost 20 plus dollars. I'm very grateful for this channel. I have 12 cats and 4 dogs currently that were thrown away like trash. I also have 3 cats that I actually brought home. So any money I can save is great because the cost of properly caring for these little guys is expensive to say the least and keeping them healthy is a priority.

  10. I think Murray is a little depressed because of his weight. He didn't seem to loose those extra winter pounds. Which could also be why he just doesn't seem to be able to climb into that big litter box. Just kidding 😂😂😂😂😂😂I'm actually feeling a bit better about my fat girl after seeing Murray.

  11. My senior Maine coone…needs a natural sedative idea?..noises…have to take him to family sometimes…where he used to live..mr.fluff.he be 14.8/7/22🙏🙏😇😇🐈🐈🐾🐾📖📖

  12. Urinating out of the litter box is from grains, go grain free wet and dry, and throw away the typical cat treats. Good suggestions but I think 9 of 10 seemingly depressed cats who are not grieving are ill. For the 1 of 10 another suggestion is a catio.

  13. My cat had all the signs. Very inactive. And severe indigestionproblems (all intestens were bobly and infected, from stomach to anus, severe megacolon and obstipation). Skin, coat, ears, eyes, anus, throat: all some sort of infection/irritation. When I came home from the vet 2 months ago with yet another course of heavy and quite dangerous medications, I had it. Next day I threw away medications, took all the grains out of his diet, and started with only fresh food and biological grainfree knibbels. Within days he started to perk up, and now at 15 he is doing better then ever.

  14. What about Grief?
My Cat Chewy passed away and his brother from another mother Bitz" now seems lonely and doesn't interact with me. I adopted 2 female kittens about 16 weeks old now. He plays with them some but he still seems sad his pal is crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge"
