Part of the new generation of Belgian restauranteurs, Richard and his friends offer us a lively guided tour of their favorite locations … Check on YouTube
This is my all time favourite episode in the entire series. I always come back to watch this dude being the realest chef and I live by the same principles as him. Cooking good food and keeping that focus on feeding people who want to enjoy good food for the low and just have a good time. From reading the comments and finding out his place closed down, which saddens me, I hope he got open another one and still does what he loves doing
Rye didn’t renew its lease because the landlord jacked up the price. That’s Brooklyn and New York in general for you. Cal’s back in Boise, ID working on a new restaurant space but it’s not open yet.
This guy has it figured out. He doesn’t care whether or not he makes money in his business (at least in the beginning) and he makes food that he would love to eat and just experiments, that’s the recipe for the perfect comfort food
Crazy this place isn’t even here anymore
love how he and his team ate first
I love this guy!
this guy seems the fukn nicest
All the love to this dude. i remember watching this year ago. Real cook through and through. This industry isn't for the weak hearted

You lived a tough life Cal, 9 years fishing is hard work but in Alaska ?

Cal has always been my favorite Munchies Chef. This dude deserves a great spot — hope he's doing well.

"I'm raw dogging the tempura."

Google is saying that Rye is permanently closed? Is this true? If so, I’m sad :(. Everything looked delicious!
Approved.
This guy seems like the real deal.

I know Rye closed, does anyone know what Cal is doing now?

That moment when he almost kissed the owner on accident lol
