  1. Every chef from NY uses challah for their French toast and I love it but it can be hard to find in a lot of places. I actually use French bread for mine and cut it on a thick bias. The crust still has some chew to it and you can soak it in the custard mixture longer without it falling apart.

  2. also, generally, love the edits to these videos. most cooking shows take themselves too seriously or too stupidly. this is the perfect balance, plus seeing everyone behind the scenes is great.

  4. OMG I could eat the whole loaf. Nothing like challah bread French toast. I’d use a coulis of berries and whipped cream instead of the Nutella sauce in my version but still delicious. Love farideh she’s just so ‘normal’ which is nice when other Star chefs are pretentious
