  3. Although I've only been growing for just a few months and am working on my first grow my friend has been growing for 30 years. He uses a similar device that he built himself for about 70 bucks using a 5 gal bucket and an old box fan. It is my opinion that these devices are extremely over priced. Way, way, way overpriced. They are 100% extremely useful time savers but if you are handy with tools, enjoy building things and are looking to save money there are several video tutorials on how to build your very own trimmer. The one thing that I do not like about growing is how a lot of companies overprice their equipment. This goes with grow tents, lights and everything. I can name one brand of grow light that sells a light that cost $400. This same light can be purchased for $130. Same Samsung bulbs, same everything. If you open up the light and look at the circuit board on both units… They share the same sku#s. Dig a little deeper and search the sku# on line you can find out where the lights are manufactured. It's like this with virtually all manufacturers. There's a high-end brand and a low-end brand that are both the exact same. They do this to maximize and take advantage of both demos. Just like with food and medicine. My 1st time growers kit with tent cost me less than half of the "name brand" kit and is exactly the same. All I am saying is that if you do your research you can literally cut your costs in half or more and grow the same super high quality bud as you would if you purchased name brand equipment. Research is super key. Do not buy the 1st deal you come across. My buddy is a pro at buying off brand equipment. It's all about finding out where the product is made and who is outsourcing it under a different name. Unfortunately nutes are a different ballgame. Good nutes cost money. Sometimes you can find an affordable nute, but for the most part if ya want to get nutes ya gotta pay.

  4. Question, are you guys using the serrated blade for the dry trim, or the straight? I know it recommends the serrated for dry but it seems the straight works better for me, just trying to compare notes>

  5. i wish i had purchased a trim bin last year. i bought an 8 inch screen and a cake pan instead for dry sift. Works okay but i hate hand sifting it. to automate it i hooked up suzan's hitachi wand to the cake pan. it works better for kief than it ever did on suzan's (rhymes with delores)

  6. Nice demonstration. Bud trimmers always get a bad rep but I feel like most people don’t understand the concept and just jump to conclusions. And this may seem like all the other trimmers out there but knowing ac infinity products there is extra quality for sure lol

  7. I use a bowl trimmer sometimes. Especially if I got a huge yield and help isn’t right there at the moment.

I had to tweak the fingers a bit. The fingers are a bit too rigid.
So I cut and 1/16 inch off the bottom of of each of the fingers and split the fingers in half with a razor. Works great wifh dry trimming.

  8. I tried the bowl trimmer from ac infinity. It worked once and then the handle never moved again. The amount of keef in the bowl was crazy. I’m guessing that’s what got in the gears on my first use and turned it into a big paper weight

  9. Looks well made and efficient.
I personally love trimming wet or dry after all that hard work for months I really feel relaxed while trimming.
But Ide definitely give one a goo. 👍🏻.
I like to go give them growbags a goo if you could send me the link
    Cheers u2. 👏 👏 .
