  1. Honestly, I've never heard anyone call it a dirty dog or danger dog. I've always heard it be called an LA Street Dog and maybe we should keep it that way. By calling it dirty or dangerous, we are just adding to the narative that La street vendors are dirty. They aren't.

  2. If you live in LA long enough you should know better than to buy the hotdogs lol. If you gotta have one tho stay away from the heavily foot trafficked areas or make sure theres some sort of sneeze guard, those things become total germ sponges.

  3. The fact this woman calls “Philipe’s,” Felipe’s is a whole other level of ignorance and disrespect. Even the Mexicans dockworkers whose accents are as thick as they can be, always call it Philipe’s when they come in in the morning. Have their beer and sandwich after a night of working and then back to work at night. Good memories and I grew up an hour south of LA.
