So I used to smoke weed with Larry of the Waldos as we listened to Fleetwood Mac's 'Hypnotized' between classes at Nexus, a hippy alternative school which was part of San Rafael High.. Now I didn't know the code at the time but in 1975 my girlfriend was a senior at SR and we went to a Johnny Winter 'Day on the Green' in Sep, 75. She said "Let's find everyone from San Rafael High" and I said how? She says.."Look for the '420 flag'. " Funny I still didn't know what it meant till I read it in Rolling Stone in 2000! Those were the Fucking days!
