Also it’s true these were invented by the Pennsylvania Dutch. They also invented whoopie pies. I think that’s why these are called oatmeal cream pies, is because they’re big sandwich cookies, similar to a whoopie pie.
Would a blender work or does it have to be a food processor for the oats?
