  1. Its a shame that VICE didn't reach out to Seen, Futura, Lee or Zephyr-DONDI has passed. These guys were the prominent Graff Artists that were doing Throw-ups and whole trains-They were the "Idols" to kids like this guy, which is why he HAD TO MENTION THEM. Futura and the others went on to have great careers as Authors & lecturers and also doing commissioned work for cities as well as projects for Film & Television and Canvas art with Spray cans in that were exhibited in Gallery Spaces both in New York and around the world; he didn't mention that though, Ha ha ha ha.
    Watch the Documentary "STYLE WARS."

  2. The 80s in NYC were bad but alot of good came out of there too. The hiphop culture was created consisting of break dancing, rapping, DJing and graffiti writing. During those early days of hiphop the culture was all inclusive and there were kids of every ethnicity and religion aligning themselves with it. Was a really cool time and I'm privileged to have lived through it.

  3. One of the best things VICE has made, and it's way toooo short; Thanks VICE and can we get more videos on art like this, love it and the comment section is full on comments like this.

  4. so after he brought the attention on the tunnel with "his press connections" then people went "really" homeless…dmn…feels so much like the colonizer of graffitti…
