My cats love rolling in catnip lol. I am laughing at Murray. I don't think my cats will share their catnip with me though. 😂
I grow it in my yard , and give it to my cats fresh every other day but I was wondering .. Is there such thing as too much catnip ?
One of my cats acts like Murray with the catnip (he definitely feels it and enjoys it immensely), but the other doesn't seem to receive any effect at all from it. She sniffs it, takes one lick and gets bored. It's like she is naturally immune to it.

catnip is a waste of money
My cat lived til she was 18, loved to roll in catnip and when I walked by she would grab at my feet, lol. Even toys with catnip in them she rolled all over. what she went craziest over was mice toys with leather tails, always wondered where those tails went. I found them later under my couch rofl, she must have been throwing the mice in the air til she pulled the tails off and pushed them under the couch as her prize pile.
Is it another form of Cat "Cannabis"??

It can also be used as a dye and a hair rinse. Definitely a sedative! It puts me to sleep fast.

My cats aren't affected by it.
We had a Patch in our garden of catnip When our cat was alive he spent the whole summer laying in the middle of it. I guess it didn't hurting he lived to be 18 years old. Also our male standard poodle love the stuff.

my cats love cat nip i have to hide it or they will rip it apart lol i got a few cats so my cats would slap each other lol i once had a tea and my cats were all over my tea and i looked on the box of tea and there was catnip in the tea lol

At least half of all the cats I've had in my life have not been affected by catnip. The other half went crazy for it! I had one that staggered around the house yowling like a drunk. My first cat would just lie flat on his back on the floor staring at the ceiling with huge, dilated pupils like he was in a trance. 😀
