  1. Decent video, but there is absolutely no such thing as “Boston style pizza.” MA has one distinctive and good style of pizza which is south shore bar pizza. Boston style pizza does not exist.

  2. I grew up in New England and New Haven pizza was the standard by which all pizzas were measured in my hometown, but I’m embarrassed to admit I had no idea that Boston pizza was also a thing. It was very different from New Haven style, but it was also very popular. I just didn’t know it has its own culture and champions. That’s a great looking pizza, but I’d use vegetarian pepperoni.

I love Douglass’s energy and style. I’d watch him cook almost anything.

  3. Pizza is a touch over cooked in my opinion but I like that quick and simple sauce recipe.
Too many places overcomplicate their sauce and it just ruins the pizza or pasta dish.
The absolute foundation of any authentic Italian cooking is simple and fresh ingredients.
And fresh made pasta is a must.

  4. Hey Douglas, wow, I love that pizza. Nice one. My question is : if this gets to someone can tell me? What do you with the pizza dough that you don't use that day or night? After you divide it and how long can you keep it ? Thanks keep'em coming love them, Douglas.
ANY BE ODY HELP ME OUT." NO WASTE".
