this was more about topping than pruning. for pruning, my general rule is to snip every fan leaf up until the last 2 nodes to promote growth during veg. other rules include if it's not receiving any light, snip it. is it about as big as your hand? snip it because it's just sucking up nutes with little or benefits. i also snip some of the bottom colas for the same reason. i'm only a 2nd time grower though, so i could be wrong about some stuff. ✌
