  1. I feel you homie. I was ALSO the one that needed to be taken care of, because I always drank like the alcohol was about to be gone. And, I'm a former Marine, and have TOO many stories about Tijuana. Most of them told to me AFTER the fact!

  2. You're doing good. I got rid of bipolar symptoms by ditching alcohol when I had turned 21, I was getting cramps from the smell of tequila. I use to steal bottles from Safeway for girls like a simp. I just wanted to say that when you use a coma in a sentence to separate two statements then you don't have to use words like 'and, but, or, and so.' In the beginning you could also use an apostrophe instead of "I." It can be rewritten and added onto as "I Decided to do some work on myself and finally kicked my alcohol addiction."

  3. In Canada, (eh hem, move here) we have liquor stores and we have grocery stores. The only place you'll find booze is in liquor stores. Getting groceries you'll only find a small section with alcohol free beverages that usually contain alcohol like beer and wine style bottles of juice or sparkling this and that.

  4. I feel like I am so similar to you, I used to watch you and other weedtubers every day and smoke hella throughout the day. Turns out I’m bipolar too and weed makes it worse. Now I’ve cut down weed a lot and am on bipolar meds. Very informative video I’m glad to see other people have the same problems I do !

Josh, do you want to help?

  6. Found your channel years ago before YouTube deleted it. Was sad when I couldn’t find it. Recently got recommended again and it’s awesome to see the growth and experience as a person. We’re both different now from a few years ago. Happy toking!!

  7. I always enjoyed your videos. Yes, I first came across your channel because it was weed-related. But, I stayed because of your authenticity and a clear commitment to spreading your message. I too had begun my cannabis journey because of medical needs. I quickly became a regular user many times per day. For me, it got to the point where I felt I needed to smoke just to eat, just to sleep. I was never able to really focus on things at work and I was losing focus on what was really important to me. In January of this year, I quit. I went cold-turkey. I have not had a smoke or even handled marijuana since. I now have the appetite of a teenager and I can sleep like a baby once again. I am happy for you that you have regained some control over your body and soul. I am sure you will be able to find success in anything you choose to do! Good luck to you!

  8. Been one hell of a ride. Been watching this from the start from hella accounts (kept forgetting my pw lol) we’re on this journey through it all. Nothing but support!

  9. I’ve had over 50 seizures in 20 years of drinking a 30 pack a day also had a 8 yr meth addiction, 4 yr Xanax and methadone, 6 yr coke got too buddies doing fed time and two years ago two close friends OD and died alcohol should me waaay more regulated than it is

  10. I've had really bad withdrawal symptoms from weed. Sweating, puking, diarrhea while in a very fragile mental state. Painting cannabis in a harmless light doesn't help anybody, it is a very strong drug.

  11. BIGUPS JOSH! good job my brethren! i did a rehab thing for heroin/opiates a couple years ago…. still clean! ur a badass, so i know you'll pull thru!

love ur life, brotha! keep it up,
    Dayel Stoner aka: the420er

  12. Ay matey! Just wanted to say I appreciate your video, your information and past experiences. No matter where you are in this world you'll never be alone. Hit someone up, when your feeling low. Talking always helps. Input of others can be inspirationable. I for one find your story very touching, motivating and a inspiring to start kicking my own bad habits. Thanks once again. Keep ya head up mate!!

  14. I'm so proud of you, dude! (This is Jay from twitch, it's been awhile) I'm glad you were able to catch onto your alcoholism before it got you in trouble or having terrible lasting damage to your health. As not only a recovering alcoholic, but also a recovering meth addict, I completely understand. I was arrested in April, 2019 and ended up going to prison for some things I have done on drink and drugs. I was incarcerated for atotal of 10 1/2 months. There are a lot of drugs in prison, so I tried to focus elsewhere, I went to NA and AA, I finally got my GED, even took a yoga class. That's where I've been, and before that, while I still active in my addiction, I was mostly focused on getting more and like you and like most, I just didn't care about anything else. I'm, glad that you made this video, it's another one of those things that no one wants to talk about, but it needs a lot more discussion.
PS, nice glasses and septum piercing. They made me take out all of mine when I got to jail gand the holes closed up.

  15. What happened with his channel? I use to watch his videos a few years ago but didnt keep up with it. So his channel got deleted or a lot of his videos?

  16. I have watched your videos for 4 years or longer! You were the first weedtuber I ever watched, and i really appreciate your energy, and honestly. I really love you josh and in sorry such a bright light had to struggle with their demons brought to the surface through alchohol. There is hope; I was an alcoholic and I am 3 years clean! Everyone goes through hardships, for comfortablility breeds complacency, and we must grow from that which does not kill us. You're a talented speaker, and advocate for many things. Keep it up josh

  17. This is really inspiring to me. I'm in the process of quitting cocaine and I just got comfortable enough to start a weed tolerance break today too. My issue is I smoke when I get bored, and work weird hours during the night so I'm stuck awake caffeinated after work because it's very physically intense, so idk what to do then when I get a craving
