  1. Formula 1… total area as in the width and length of the bottome of the tent or to the hight to the top of the plants. Im not growing a flat horizontal plant either.. or the entire tent as if the light was hung. And what does the answer mean? Missed the mark again. Im not even going to get into the other formulas

  2. Really appreciate the attempt but could you please also keep on the channel the previous version?
This edited one has been reduced to the point of meaninglessness, and now it is neither technical nor practical.
It might now protect some egos from the hard maths but it also doesn't help _anyone actually set up their lights and grow their plants

  3. It's not so difficult:
-Thing about the Stage your plants are in to
    -30 – 35 watts for sqaure feet
-Hang the LED's not lower than 16 inches
-Use a PAR meter for the right amount of DLI
    -Read your plants
    You're welcome 💚

  4. So if i have a grow space of 4.84ft, my 1 light is 300w that = 61.9 i assume by this it either means my plants are getting 61.9w of light/energy per foot. I know every plant needs 30w – 70w+ so did i do the math right and under what circumstance is the formula used for or have i messed this up and meant to get a different number ((N)1 light x (S)300w ÷ (A)4.84 = 61.9 if plants only need 35w amd i got 61.9 does this mean i only need half the power

  5. What is PPFD?

PPFD stands for Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density. It measures the amount of light, in photons, that reaches your plant's surface every second.

This measurement is crucial. It directly impacts your plants’ ability to photosynthesise and convert light into energy to grow Photo periods require 18 light during their vegetative stage and 12 hours at the flowering stage.

For regular weed growing, the PPFD for seedling stage is 100-300 µMol/m2/S; the PPFD for vegetation stage is 400-600 µMol/m2/S, and the PPFD for flowering stage is 800-1,000 µMol/m2/S.

  6. What are you trying to achieve…? How can you talk about light and not mention PPFD and PAR maps or DLI. So much waffle and so little useful info. Most know that you need a minimum of 30watts per square foot with led's. And know the manufactures hanging specifications and what level of PPFD to use for each stage of the grow. Your video offers nothing of any relevance to the real world of growing.

  7. Subject: Urgent Action Needed to Protect Religious Freedom and Medicinal Herbs of Rastafari Community

I am writing to you today to express my deep concern regarding the ongoing unlawful attacks on the religious rights and medicinal practices of the Rastafari community. As a member of society who values religious freedom and access to medicinal herbs, I urge you to take immediate action to address this issue.

The Rastafari community has a long-standing tradition of using certain herbs, particularly cannabis, as sacraments in their religious rituals. These herbs are not only integral to their spiritual practices but also have been recognized for their medicinal properties for centuries. It is unjust and unconstitutional to infringe upon their religious rights and deny them access to these sacred and beneficial plants.

Furthermore, scientific research has demonstrated the therapeutic potential of cannabis and cannabinoids in treating various medical conditions, including cancer, chronic pain, epilepsy, and mental health disorders. By prohibiting or restricting access to these herbs, not only are the religious freedoms of the Rastafari community violated, but individuals who could benefit from their medicinal properties are also deprived of potentially life-changing treatments.

I urge you to reconsider any laws or regulations that criminalize the use of cannabis and other medicinal herbs within the Rastafari community. Instead, I implore you to support policies that respect religious diversity and promote access to natural remedies for those in need.

Additionally, I encourage you to engage in meaningful dialogue with representatives from the Rastafari community to better understand their

  8. 3x is charm. I'd suggest providing an example for each formula and don't be afraid to make the video longer. I don't think many would mind spending at least a few minutes on each formula as long as it makes it easier to understand. Things like "personal tweak" are useless if you don't tell us what it is a tweak of. If it becomes too detailed you could always make 5 10 minute videos out of it.

  9. thank you very much for you effort, but i think there is missing some examples to understand this better. and also there is the question of "what is the sweetspot?" what should be the result of the formula? what should "I" in I=(PxK²)/D² ??? a lot of fromula but no answers. hope for a last video wtih some examples. thanks and much love

  10. OK. A little better but you're still not explaining the range that the final values should be. For example, with C=A/(NxS), what good is knowing what C is if I don't know what C should be in my grow area?

  11. I really appreciated your revision of this video. May I ask that you make one minor "Tweak" to it? … Can you build out examples for us? So maybe use a 4 x 4 tent as an example. Build it out with some lighting, temperature, and some plants. Then show us how under that grow environment you would apply these formulas to help us "dial it in". I think this will help us all, because for those using different size grow spaces, they will then easiily replace the numbers you used for your example, with numbers that are more suited to their grow space.

Thanks for actually "listening" to your viewers. It really reinforces a sense of "community" with us!! 🙂

  12. This is so dumb….. Every Phenotype is DIF and every genotype is DIF in EVERY BATCH OF SEEDS!!! You have NO idea what light or temp it needs till you've grown it once and SEE WHAT TYPE IT IS!!!! You have to know the NEEDS of the plant in question or your math won't work!~!! This is adding another level of 'BRO SCIENCE' to the turtles all the way down of growing Cannabis. KNOW YOUR PLANT FIRST, THEN THE LIGHT AND TEMP! Everyone wants to grow dif plants with the same standards, that's the problem…

  13. Still confused about the frequency of light – Will some daylight balanced LEDs do? How many Lumens? On/Off duty cycle? What ph-level? Moist or more dry dirt? Now I feel a headache coming on…
I might just try the sun room and add an oscillating fan to it. See what happens. And as I pointed out, if nothing happens, it’s a trip to the dispensary, but $$$
