No matter how you slice it, rap/hip hop is black music, and hopefully black people continue to be at the forefront of it. It's one thing when you have amazing solid artists like Beastie Boys or Eminem. But when you see average to mediocre white artists coming up off black music and getting all the looks and black artists aren't getting those same looks, then yeah, people are gonna rightfully take issue.
