  1. all this cypress verzuz talk and still! the hill v onyx was a total L. everyone missed it and , and, and the crowd were a bunch of un educated hiphop fans. smh.

  2. The industry actively want a division between the young and elder generation so that they can control the direction of the youth and maximise their profits. Older artists have the knowledge and moral compass of the art but the labels/corps are afraid that they might have a revolution against them if they don't step in.

  3. Hip Hop has never had OG's in the game til now. I'm 35 & its not much older. We just started classifying classic & old school hip hop/rap in, what, the last 10 yrs or so? It's not a "young man's" genre…there has just never been anything but young dudes til the OG's grew up to nowadays. I love that I can listen to the old shit & sift through the new shit to find good shit now. Some of these young cats are fire. But very few of the collective, in my opinion.

  4. Time for a new weed strain. Gold school! LMFAO! What a Monday show! I knew I had to watch this one and am so happy I did. It was great to here B-real's take on the Verzuz and just what you can learn musically and historically from everyone being just one more reason I love this show. Happy 2 year anniversary for Dr. Greenthumbs! I will have to visit one day with the homie plus eat Bart's and also grab brew from Craft Beer Kings.

  5. Kiero keeps saying the Dodgers were down two and won 3 in a row against the Giants. Not true at all. They went 1-1 in SF then went 1-1 in LA, then went to game 5. The Giants were up 2-1 and then the Dodgers won 2 in a row.

  6. I came home last night after a long day just on time to the versus starting and was about to start spitting/practice some writens as it's Been a while and hav been wanting to see what I sound like or if I like it.
I definetly don't think I'm a mc but know forsure I can write my ass off. Being a hop hop head the "battle" was a must stop what im doing and watch for me as I fortunatly had the time and knowing I would get too busy and only catch the highlights.
Like you guys said on here,
I was taking notes And paying homage.and let's just say I don't dance but that shit had me moving along with the gin lol.
It also reminded me how many songs were on San Andreas not that's where I first heard them all but being only 29 that game had a big impact on me and I'm not a gamer no offence.

Great episode thanks and happy anniversary.

  7. I remember being in 5th grade (2002-2003) and starting to explore hip hop on my own, but I felt I couldn’t keep up with the new shit so I said fuck it I’m gonna listen to all the old shit. KRS quickly became one of my favorite rappers. Definitely in the top 10 of all time. Respect.
