  1. Wow. I’ve been craving some authentic tamales since my childhood. I use to go to a food truck at a market and it was the best food I’ve ever had thin tamales full of so much flavor. The large tamales do not compare. I will forever dream of those food truck tamales lol

  3. My abuelo told me this when I was young and it holds to this day. If you go to get Mexican food from someone and they either barely speak English or are large them that’s how you know the food will be good.

  8. Never heard of using milk in masa unless they are sweet tamales- I researched and didn’t find one reference to using milk in non-sweet varieties: i.e. Pork or Chicken. Someone please educate me..
