I'm fairly convinced that all of these new apps and things are 'geared' toward the medicinal grower that doesn't have to 'hide' his or her grow from any legal entities…the problem is really only if the rippers start figuring out how to hack the apps…at which point…I can only assume the app would simply die and get replaced by a far better and more secure app shortly thereafter.
No data is "stored" on your phone… Its on a secured cloud service. The point is you dont need to be in your grow room you can be anywhere. Do you do any banking on your phone or smart device? Someone with ideas might hack your bank account too, but you dont see people closing their accounts because the bank of choice does online banking. It's safe to assume that if your "data" is private and secure for banking it can be for these products.
