  1. I took my cat to the vet and they gave her rabies even tho I said not to. They just did it in another room. Is that allowed? I'm really angry because in MD it is required every year. Yearly is way too often and it hadn't even been a full year anyway. I'm so angry. I had to take her in for her ear infection. My other cat died from that stupid shot.

  2. I wish more vets would speak out about this!! My 20 lb dog was over vaccinated (from what Dr Robb’s assessment was) and she almost died. Hematocrit was below 10% twice prior to transfusions. IMHA is an awful disease from over vaccination from what I’ve been able to find.

  3. My pup is a tiny jack russel x pomaranian. He had his first shot at 8 weeks and was supposed to have the next within 2 to 4 weeks. Circumstances happened and I missed that 4 week time slot. I was able to get another appt, but he'll be 11 days over the 4 weeks 'deadline' by that date, the receptionist said he'll have to restart, and have the 'first' vaxx again, and then the second later….but if i allow this, he'd have been vaxxed 3 times instead of twice! Im not comfortable with this, will the delay of 11 days really matter? I opted to not get my cat vaxxed as all our family cats have lived to be ancient unvaccinated. He's thriving at 16months.
Im in Britain BTW, so we dont get rabbies shots. He had a 2 in one vaxx. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

  4. I attribute all my poodles dental issues to this. It breaks my heart to see them walking around with their tongues dragging on the ground due to no teeth. My 13 year old had to have more teeth removed and I fought them on giving him another rabies. The breeder pumped him full of the vax's and I did my best to keep the vets off him after that..But he was already 2 when I got him.

  5. Dr Jones please advise us on how/where to have titers done and how much $ from high to low cost if possible? if it's posed as " just a thought" than perhaps it won't be shut down by the digital platform gods…it's just a thought…

  6. Because I am well aware of Big Pharma practices, my 3.4 lb older adult poodle receives zero vaccines. Im just trying so hard to find a vet that is knowledgeable. I never take her in and I feel guilty. She has a mammary tumor and we already went through that 5 years ago. Huge surgery and he vaccinated her. Never again. I am trying to treat the tumor myself because I have lost all trust.

  7. Thank you Dr. Jones. Lucky and Zai Zai (long coat chihuahuas) lived a good life, and passed away last year, barely 6 months apart. They were 16 and 15 yo respectively. We miss them dearly. Recently, our family was blessed with a 8 week old cheagle from a lady in our community, who was giving out puppies. And of course, I came back to you for advice on raising Alya. Thank you for all that you do, absolutely admirable and incredible work! Blessings to all at home 🙂

  8. Hi there, Dr Jones! Thank you for this very insightful video. I’ve been wondering about this very thing for a long time now, and your advice lines up with a lot of my research and thoughts. I do have a question though. I live in the country, 7 miles from the closest neighbor, and have 3 dogs who mainly stay outside, so they never see any other dogs. However, there is exposure to other animals. We have horses as well, and wildlife is abundant out here, including deer, turkey, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats, and an occasional fox. Would you recommend the same vaccination amounts and schedule in your description for my dogs as well? Thank you.

  9. My 12 year old small furbaby has been sick with kidney disease since she was vaxxed late last year. I know now she must’ve been not 100% when she had it but I wish I knew then what I know now. 😢

  10. last December my kitten was at 13 week old and she had her first basic shot. I was shocked to see the measure of this shot for my little kitten. After that, I observed how my kitten was after that and I realized it is better not to have another in the future.

  11. VACCINATIONS GAVE MY DOG DIABETES!!! a month after he got it! he was 5.5 yrs. By the grace of God he is still alive and 12 yrs old now. But many illnesses in between and many almost deaths as a result of complications. Don't vaccinate your pet other than a few inoculations when a puppy. They don't need any more

  12. You are the best. I watch all of your videos.. I agree on over vaccinating. I only give my dog the rabies shot which is mandatory, and I also do the heart-worm vac. once a year not twice and I get her tested every year.. thank you for stepping up and telling us the truth…

  13. Have there been any studies on long-term vaccine effects for dogs and cats? My dog had regular vaccinations when he was young but has had none other than rabies (required by law) for about 6 years. I saw no point in the vaccines because he is indoors and doesn't interact with other animals.

  14. I gave my dogs the vaccines for their first couple of years and now I don't bother and they are all healthy and well. I also don't over worm them or flea them as its all harsh chemicals into the body, I will treat only when needed. There is alot of money to be made as people love their pets and do what they think is right but it can be damaging to their health.

  15. Same thing goes for the vaccines being given to humans. Dig really deep and you'll find out a whole lot that they don't tell you. Just because they say they're "experts" doesn't mean you should 100% trust them. Do your own research! Thanks for the video!

  16. Doctor, I live on a ranch in a rural area. Many wildlife, rabbits, coyotes, even livestock. How often should I be vaxxing my dog? He's 7 now but is outside every day all over the place, his nose is always sniffing anywhere and everywhere 😬
EDITED: I forgot to mention that I also have 3 indoor cats that he is around when he comes back inside. Should I be concerned that dog may be bringing in disease to my cats?

  17. I brought this up with a Vet. saying I know they're suppose to tell people this by the Pharmaceutical Comp. I wish I would've stopped getting my dogs vaccinated years ago because they are toys. I did stop a few years ago. I'm only going to do the first vaccines if I should have a puppy again. Years ago dogs lived so much longer and healthier than they do today.

  18. Dr. Jones when Molly was alive she developed the dog form of vertigo (I can’t remember what’s it’s called sorry) but in humans there is a maneuver called the “Eply Maneuver”that brings a person out of vertigo almost instantly. Is there anything like this that can help a dog? At that time the vet told me there wasn’t anything to help her (he gave her some medication & sent her home) I actually thought she was having some sort of seizure but a key indicator was her eyes , they were rapidly darting back and forth and she couldn’t stand up without wanting to fall over. Maybe this will help someone diagnose their dog if they are having a similar problem. You know what is a shame, wth Covid19 there aren’t very many vets in business anymore that will see a dog in an emergency, we discovered this in Ca because my sisters dog was very sick and we couldn’t find an emergency vet within a 3 hour radius of where she lived, it was really sad to watch her dog suffer days before her vet could see her dog 😢🤬, an absolute shame!!

  19. Hi there. I have a 4 month old lab/husky mix. I've noticed some odd things on her body. For starters she only has 6 nipples and they aren't lined up like usual. Also I feel like she has something more serious that presents itself with diaphragm spasms that I thought were hiccups but they come at random times. Twice when she was scolded and very anxious, then twice they woke her from sleep. It may be more often but ice seen those myself. My vet can't see her for 2 months and I'm scared

  20. After seeing this marvellous veterinary I'm glad I have not vaccinated my 8 dogs. They live on a farm with me and don't meet other dogs are not walked in areas where there are other dogs but in the forest on our property. But unfortunately I still have to vaccinate the puppies I am selling at 8 weeks because the people buying them expects that.

  21. My Boston was severely injured by vaccines when the pet store we bought her from injected her with a massive amount of vaccinations because the other puppy she was in the cage with came down with parvo. They did this without our consent after the purchase. The dog is now 2 years old and can barely walk. She was diagnosed with meningitis and has been being treated with prednisone for over a year and a half. This whole vaccine thing is all about money in my opinion. God Bless

  22. Just took both seniors for rabies vac. Cringe every time. Pump them up with extra supplements before and after
in hopes of counter-acting any adverse reactions. ( Probably futile but don't know what else to do.) Vet says
they are healthy enough to get vac.

  23. My adult male GSD developed a large tumour in the exact spot he got his last shots. My vet surgically removed it. Left a 10” incision. It was benign. Obviously his body was rejecting the shot. 🤔

  24. I have a new miniature dachshund puppy. The vet Tech talked me into a puppy package so instead of me paying $470 they said it would be $115 this includes being wormed stool samples and vaccines. I thought they only needed two vaccines back in the 90s that's what I recall but now they have four different sets they want to give her. Every time we come home after her vaccine she seems to have extra energy and is getting into things that she shouldn't. This last for a couple hours at least. The last shot has the word parvo in it so I guess she's not protected against parvo until the 4th shot. I've been reading comments and it's my understanding that once they have their shots as a puppy they should only have the rabies every 3 years. Any comments on this for verification would be absolutely wonderful. Thank you

  25. I've recued two dogs who were over vaccinated and had autism. One was really really bad. No eye contact, constantly going around in circles, pacing. Fortunately I found the female a good home. The other dog was a male and loved to be loved, but had autism characteristics and was very aggressive around children. Found him a wonderful home with a couple with no children and believe me, he became their child. A friend took her mini Schnauzer in for routine shots and that evening her dog was paralyzed from the neck down. The vet would take no responsibility and had no problem blaming it on a possible accident he must have had at home. For exam and x-rays, her vet sent her a bill for $1000.

  26. I’ve been saying this for years to my veterinarian, so I refuse to vaccinate. Instead, I do titer count testing every 3 years.
You bring such important information to your viewers. Thank you for your incredible and reasonable knowledge.

  27. I have been thinking about this for some time. I have a chihuahua that was due for a rabies vaccine. I called my vet and asked if I could get a waiver and she said only if he was old or sick. Since he is only about 8 and not sick and was over due for his rabies shot and I couldn't get a license without one I felt that I had no choice. I went in to another agency and asked why my chihuahua would get the same dosage as a great Dane. They had no answer other than to compare it to the coronavirus vaccine and saying that a 399 pound man would get the same dosage as a old woman under 100 pounds. I did get the vaccine and license and have not seen a problem. But, more study definitely needs to be done. And I would say that other than the rabies I get no other vaccines for my dogs(4) and they all appear to be very healthy.

  28. It all makes sense . in hindsight .From yearly vaccines , to antibiotic resistance , near death with oral flea meds. I am blaming all of these concoctions as having a part of his developing Diabetes . RIP Auggie ♥
Thank you Dr. Jones for all that you do……
