  9. My dog has been putting off a horrible bleachy chemical putrid smell and he is known to have anal gland issues and i have not squeezed his glands in months. I have to lube up my thumb and insert my thumb to find it and its not always easy to drain for some reason thank goodness for both of us it doesnt have to be done but once a month. If your dog has anal gland issues you better start watching anal gland draining videos and buy some gloves and some lube. My dog will try to eat it if we allow him to remain outside with it. We usually take him straight to the bath tub afterwards. Its so nasty but we don't like paying a vet to do something if we can do it ourselves im sure the vets are happy for that😁

  14. Hi Doctor, I have a question. I spent over 1000 dollars on my dog's anal gland issues. Out of the blue she started to smell bad from her bottom. I took her to get checked and they said there was not much anal gland fluid there even after expressing she still smelled. The first vet I went to said it was an infection after it was sent to the lab. I did antibiotics and that didn't help then they did an anal gland infusion with antibiotics and she still smelled. The second vet currently said she looked under a microscope and did not see any elevated white blood cells and that It was not infection so it did not need to be sent to a lab. She prescribed an anti-inflammatory and my dog did not react well to it. I have tried anal gland supplements and I am doing the increase in fibre thing to see if that will help which I have been doing for 4 weeks now. I am worried could this be a systemic issue and allergies is this why she smells and but scoots and it doesn't stop? It started when she ate food with chicken in it and I never gave chicken again but after this happened in August she has smelled ever since and the anal glands are not full. I am beyond what to do. I have tried hot compresses and nothing gets rid of the smell and she never had this problem before. I found a person who knows a natural vet who is suggesting I try antihistamines and if I go there that's how they would treat this. Because she never smelled before and she used to butt scoot but never smelled I am worried. What is the best course of action of what to do and do you think that I should worry or go to the lab again when the one vet looked under the microscope and said there was no issues there with infection. I don't know if its just inflammation causing the smell or a systemic problem? I don't want to get rid of the smell only I want to get to the root cause of why she smells and if she is okay. Any suggestions would be great. I love your videos!!!! Thanks!

  15. Well that explains it! My Aulsky Lagertha snatched my Am. Cocker Spaniel's chicken drumsticks from her bowl and took off with it last night. I took off after Lagertha but she had swallowed it whole! She ran into her crate from there and gave me the most pitiful look… now today she smells like a washed up rotting fish…

  16. My dog licks herself all over and stinks so bad we have put coconut oil all over we gave her coconut oil to eat with her food, we have tried shampoos from vets stores so expensive! She still stinks like fish and Doritos! What can i do? this has been for years and years she bites herself raw sometimes. I have watched some of your other videos hoping to find a solution. Can you suggest something greatly appreciated it.

  17. ROFLOL. Tula is the greatest. Laughed too much to hear the Doc and had to re-watch. My dog likes to come into the house smelling like he rolled around in something dead, but there's never anything dead to find in the yard. What causes this and how do I fix it? He's a Lhasa Apso.

  20. My dog has started losing a lot of fur on the thigh part. Have been giving apple cider vinegar in the food. He is on raw diet. Is there anything that I can do?

  22. I know it’s off topic, but I’d love to hear your ideas on treating skin issues in dogs. Our lab/St.Bernard loves swimming in the river. Twice now he has gotten swollen eyes, and redness, and itching of the skin. I believe it could be from bacteria from all the birds that flock to this area. I’d love another option besides antibiotics and antihistamines.
    (Your ear remedy is the bomb! I’ve been using it on him and his daughter) thanks so much!

    Canine Distemper and Parvovirus are threatening diseases in Dogs. Can you do a video on them on how to prevent and treat them in dogs holistically without overvaccinating them ? Since titres are costly and aren't easily available in India.
