  4. You forgot to mention the part where they dip the thai stick into opium which would be more of a reason to use the stick so they can dip them and make sure they get everything back out in peace

  7. Because they were dipped in opium. 😂 Dried and cured just like any other buds. Then the little golden buds was tied on with a thin strand of Kemp or cannabis fiber. Then dipped in a very sweet honey / opium oil. Then dried again. When you get them they could be wrapped up in rice paper and were about as big around as your finger and 18 inches long. It came in bundles. They got cut in half and sold from 25$ to 30$ a stick. You would get 7 skinny joints. Hash tasty sweet and now from Mexico. Usually who ever sold it had hash and opium temple balls and hash fingers 8 inches long most of that had been sitting around for 50 to 100 years or more guarded by the monk's. There is still some left but they aren't so friendly. Being exploited by the hippie movement and the search to reach nirvana. I smuggled heroin and hashish in Europe. Until I was busted by INTERPOL. Cannabis is illegal to smoke in Thailand. Now but you should check out what is going on now. It's an incredible story you can get anything cooked with it from beef stew, stir fry , soups ice cream.

  20. Ya when I left the military and Vietnam in ‘70. Half of my seabag was filled with opiated Thai stik, Maui Waui, Blue Hawaiian and Primo hash. Pearl Harbor had the best weed ever!

I smoke every day, in switzerland we have very good and very strong weed, once on my holidays in thailand on koh phi phi island a guy came up to me and asked me if i smoke? i said yes do you got something? He says yeea maaan i tought he came from haven he began to shine in my eyes because i didnt smoke for almost 2 weeks, so i bought some and even a pre rolled pure weed joint, after finding the perfect spot i smoked that prerolled mofo… after 20 min waiting and no feeling i rolled and smoked another one same thing again after waiting 20min no feeling… the weed was hard even a grinder would have problems to grind it so lucky i didnt smoked one more… i was disappointed and walked back in my bungalow out of the sudden a very very strange feeling hit me very hard i started to sweat alot and my heart startet to pump very fast i tought it may be a good idea to lay down in my bed so i did this and the room started to spin very fast… i stood up took a shower and eat something after that it was all cool again. The next day i saw the guy and asked him wtf do you sell me he said love

  25. I remember the little thia sicks from back in the day, called them opium dipped thai sticks and the stuff expanded like crazy and was smooth. Not like sweet pungent herb of today, also got thai bud wich smelt like ammonia kinda and was gold/brown, also Maui bud, Kona bud and pine bud. Columbian gold too. All imported ,maybe someday countries can chill and import/export the fine herbs of the past.

  27. Im 59 yes there was weed in the 70's(had lots of older friends) that was like a brown super sweet, its still burned in my brain with little almost slivers of wood twine wrapped on a portion of a chop stick for real. We would get mad because of the extra wood weights.

  28. In Thailand, marijuana is illegal. but has only recently been certified But some were arrested by the police for growing marijuana. But the capitalist was not caught by the police. It's a sad story
