While the info about plantain is good, the weed you're showing does not look like plantain. The lines in plantain leaves don't branch off of a center line. All the lines should be more parallel. If you break off a leaf from stem, those lines usually tear out like separate threads. Again, the info about the uses are good, but proper identification is important.

How long does the coconut oil/plantain concoction need to stay on? My dog will lick it right off her skin.
I use this for my dogs urinary problem. Works and keeps the constant vet bill down. I got the idea from the Lost Ways book. I grind it up with a cup of water. Cook it in a double boiler really low heat for several hours, strain it, cool, Then give it to her in a syringe.

My chiropractor Dr Jones 🙂 also said to use on swollen, sprained & inflamed spots on your body. Chew or mash & spread on area, reduces inflammation, swelling & I think bruising.
I guess coconut oil on nose is better than Vaseline, we use Vaseline on their noses of we see them getting dry, cleats it right up

I make a salve with plantain and use on my dogs and us for any bites, burns and any owies
It's great herb. Many times as a kid I used it's fresh crushed leaves as a first aid for scratched knees or elbows. It helped to stop bleeding very quick 😀

Dr. Jones I'm extremely worried. I cant go into the vet into Monday and I am very concerned over my cat.
He is usually playful,highly active and very mischievious. Now she has not eaten food or had any water for a whole day. I have refreshed the water several times and nothing. When it comes to the food I suspect the commercial food I have him may have poisoned him or something. He can still move around if he wants to and he has jumped to his favorite hide out spot when folks try to come in but I know deep in my heart something is wrong. Normally he goes crazy for his wand toy and starts trying to catch it and now he just looks at it and I know he want to get it but is too tired.
What do I do doctor? I don't want him to pass on me because the vet wont open up until Monday.
The pet food he eats is taste of the wild whose main protein Salmon and he has different variety of Meow mix that has different varieties such as chicken,salmon, liver, turkey.
I'm really scared. I need your help doc 😭😭😭😭😭.
