  1. wow look amazing, you are right, reminding me from childhood too. usually we put butter and chocolate sprinkle on the bread, eat it just like that.many years ago in Indonesia we dont have bakery, a guy will sell fresh bread everyday with his four wheel cart going to neighbor hood

  2. He is so right. I was in my twenties when I had my first babka, so I didn’t grow up on it, but that first time, I had a blast from the past and flashes from my childhood! It was a chocolate babka. Sooooo good

  3. I found when I tried making babka the bread was undercooked in the middle and the chocolate wasn't marbled in-between, I found the problem was my dough wasn't thin enough, and it wasn't rolled properly.
