  1. Im so thankful for you and your channel I just found you tonight I'm watching many of your videos and learning.. I recently lost my beloved baby of 16 years. I blame these horrible money grubbing vets that overlooked and misdiagnosed him. Ty for caring and telling the truth

  2. I mean of course its a friggin pig ear. But don't feed a animal that was made originaly eating raw food, is just absurd. Their immune systems are more made to handle such things than ours. But of course dogs for instance may have adapted to not raw food but i have never seen a issue with any of these things. but why do dogs like pig ears so much is what i have wondered.

  3. They say a UV light kills bacteria simanella etc they have a wand type and and one to use in water. Whats your thoughts on it? Of course you don't put on skin or look at it just wave over the area your cleaning.

  4. Dr. Jones, I use to routinely give my dogs pig ears until the episode of one day. On that day I had given my Black Lab, Trooper, his pig ear & turned my back to do dishes. I suddenly became aware of a problem and turned around to see Trooper silently gagging/choking. I rushed to his aid by straddling his back & wrapping my arms under his chest as he slowly began collapsing. I opened his mouth to find a soggy full pig ear deep in his throat. Luckily I was able to reach enough of it to pull it out before he fully collapsed & gently pumped his chest for a full recovery. I think what alerted me was the absence of the sound of Trooper chewing his pig ear. I threw out a box of nearly 50 pig ears & never trusted to give again. Also, my dogs love riding in the car with me & I lower their window a bit to let them taste the air w/their nose. I’m always amazed by the well intentioned but ignorant practice of dog owners who with window fully down allow their pets to fully extend their faces to the wind & the VERY real danger of road debris striking the eyes. Maybe you could occasionally reference it in one of your videos! Rich

  5. Don't know why some say, "sweatin' like a pig!" Since pigs do not sweat, as I'm sure U know. The poisons collect in the fat and reside there. Nope,no sweating out. We don't do pork. So many other meats available, if meat is what one wants

  6. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE WARNING , PASSED TO FRIENDS , I DON'T GIVE THEM TO MY LITTLE ONE , HEALTHY LIVING FOR DOGS SHOULD BE A PRIORITY FOR ALL OWNERS , LOTS OF GOOD ADVICE , BEST WISHES, L***

  7. Can I ask you the same question I asked my Dog's Vet….. why are Vet's not Vegan? I asked my Vet if he knows many Vet's that are Vegan and he said none! I always assumed people become Vets because they love Animal's? Does that mean, when chosing a career, many Vet's chose it for the financial gain then? My Vet is really nice and takes in consideration my Dogs ill health, old age and my very poor financial situation yet, his Boss, who own the business and is a Vet, have lied to me about $10K operations my Dog doesn't need and over selling medication for 6 Months in advance when they know he has a terminal illness! If it wasn't for the fact that the young Vet quietly telling me that my Dog doesn't need a $10K operation, the owner of the business would be emotionally draining me of money for her own personal gain and making me go into severe debt for years! Is this illegal? Is there someone you can make a formal complaint to?

  8. Does this imply all country's are bad or just USA. I feed my 6mth pup cut strips of ears for teething few times week, now wondering what you could replace with? Any suggestions anyone? Thanks from NZD

  9. Such a cute 'duo' I have to say. And look at those innocent eyes at the end of your video. Tula says 'Dad my life is in your hands.'
But honestly, she is not sold on those pig ears. She knows exactly what is good for her, and especially those special treats dad made for her.
Doc, talking about treats, I have a question for you. I make treats for my dogs with bonemeal and other ingredients which I bake, cut into bite-size square and freeze. I give them 2 squares a day. Is that acceptable would you say? They absolutely love them and can't wait for treat time every day.
Thank you for your videos. I absolutely watching them. Elaine from South Africa 💘🐾

  10. you must have straaaaange pigs in the USA… for 20 years all my dogs get pigs ears around two times a week. never had problems with those. i cut back on them because they are getting expensive. they get so expensive because teh CHINESE actually buy most of them for their human consumption. apparently it's a snack for people in China. and as we all know, the number of people is definitely not declining in China.

  11. If heat (350*F) kills salmonella why not put them in the oven for an appropriate period (don't know) to kill the bacteria? We used to raise pigs and retrieve the pig ears and cook them ourselves and didn't have any problems. I do this with most of my dog's treats, just to ensure that all possible viruses, bacteria, and molds are avoided. This morning they brought me an old prairie dog carcass. Yech. They must have strong gut health…

  12. My dog had a bacterial infection, was given antibiotics, fluids, which was very expensive. A pig ear was the cause . RAPPED in my blanket was a size of a quarter piece of pig ear . I could smell something but couldn't find , my son did, he picked it up and smelt it. It was so bad he felt like vomiting, and gagged. It was there two days . You would of thought an animal died from a decomposed animal. Never, never again did I buy a pig for him . It looked like they were stained. That was 7 yrs ago , who would think it would take all that time to be discovered. God Bless the Lords creatures!!
