  1. I'm pulling for you Bam. I've felt that pain of losing a best friend and I can tell you if you can find your way through the internal pain you'll find a person that can be clean and sober and a warrior that is unmatched. It is all internal work. God Bless you on your journey.

  2. He has good people around him; he just needs to start loving himself more. When they filmed this, he was still drinking, and it's great to hear that in 2022, he's finally sober and into a proper recovery. What happened to Ryan Dunn was terrible, but he wouldn't have wanted his friend to drink himself into oblivion wallowing in grief. In this scenario with a crippling addiction like that, there are no half-measures; it has to be sobriety, he can never drink again, or it's illness followed by an early death, the oldest story of all.

    I'm glad he's found the strength to choose sobriety. 🤟

  3. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a recovered addict. It will always be a struggle. Old thoughts will creep in pushing you towards your addiction. Every one of us has questioned our sobriety or wanted to escape back to that place of comfort. We will always fight a battle against an ever present and very real demon. We just have to remember why we got sober. We have to think of all the pain, heartache, and insanity that came along with our addictions. How we hurt ourselves and the ones we love. We just have to keep going. Keep working every day and take it one day at a time.

I watched Brandon Novak hour vlogg on his channel in 2020, it made me realise that I’m worth more than a life on drugs , I’m 45 , I had been on different substances since the age of 11, at 43 I stopped injecting snow balls , heroin and crack , New Year’s Day 2023 I have 2 years off the Needle and on maintenance methadone

  18. I grew up watching Bam. We are almost the same age but his career went into outer space and I was confined to my garage playing music. I also became a heavy drinker in my mid 20's and have been sober now 2 and a half years. Bam talked about using skating to get sober and I can tell you first hand that it works. For me it was music. A guy I barely knew sent me a broken guitar and I had to learn how to fix it. Once I did that, I started playing again. Since then I have given away 12 guitars to people in sober programs and in need. I used music as a tool and I know that for other musicians could use that too. Keep up the work Bam. Every day is a fight and you choose whether to come out with your fists up.

  28. I think bam getting back to what he loves (skating) is definitely what he’s needed all along. Especially after his best friend died. Skating was always a part of him so getting back in shape and doing what he loves is so good. I really fuckin hope the best for him man he was an icon back in the early 2000’s. Kids now a days don’t know it judging by the “middle aged dad” look but he was definitely a mega star. Love you bam! 🤘🙌🏻

  37. This is pointless why set your expectations so high on yourself without doing it behind close doors. Not airing a video on vice on how you are going to be sober ? IMO bam should just go find God. Find peace and stay away from Hollywood/media industry until you accomplish what you want for yourself and your baby. #ONELOVE

  38. Lmao success cant be taken away, they tried to do it to Dave Chappelle but in the end they only took his money and Hollywood just made another example of why they are evil and fucked up. Dave was still successful and still is. Success when achieved can only truly be lost if you forget about it. I know this isnt about Dave but thats the best example for an analogy i can come up with. Bam has already achived alot of success and no one will forget it, even if he does, thats what being a legend is about. I hope Bam is successful in being a father and relearning all his tricks and maybe even learning some new ones.

  43. Novack and bamm has/had a frienemy type of friendship which isnt really heathly im starting to suspect. Maybe im reading into to much with the little amount of info i have. I hope it was just a rivalry between 2 good friends.

Well thats kinda fucked…… I feel little bad for novack but its not like anyone was putting a gun to your head to shoot up that junk or lift that bottle, but at the same time damn when you see the hommie struggling dont fucking put em down or use them as the worst example fucking support your brother and friend and steer them into right path to get help.
