Wet trimming should never be done..yes remove fan leaves, but leave the sugar leaf intact. It protect you trichomes, keeps your terps in and also helps with proper drying..we call in cocooning in Northern California. Wet trimming will break trich heads off and dry to fast leaving chlorophyll trap creating harsh smoke. Over 20 years growing and I would never recommend wet trimming….my advive remove fan leaf, hang by branches not entire plant (mold is more likely to hit), air flow under product in dark 10-14 day, then start trim and cure..when drying with sugar leaf on it will not give you the hay taste. That is from drying too fast and incorrect curing
I'm really disappointed in this series. I was really looking forward to seeing a more.informative guide on this style of growing. It looks like just a very very side project and below average results and barely any info after the first episode
So bottom line, you said it’s optimal to hang a complete plant, WITHOUT cutting off large & small fan leaves? So we should shoot for in our dry rooms for 60F 60Rh and hang a full plant. Do you spread the full plant out or leave like upside down Xmas tree?
I always trim this way, easier for me. Helps my drying and avoiding mold. 2weeks hanging,2weeks jars and burpin' couple times a day until cured. It does work WELL!!! Nice video Parker 👍
Great idea for moisture retention in your growing soil. Increase topsoil albedo to lower soil temperature and decrease evaporation.

Is there any specific reason you decide to grow in bails of straw? Or just bc you had it?
