  8. Doc, I don’t know why you don’t groom her yourself. I’ve been grooming my own dogs for over 35 years, everything from Yorkies to Poms to Poodles, even a flat coated Retriever that took me days the first time. I don’t know how people can afford to pay for grooming especially if you have several dogs.

  22. Glutton for punishment that I am, I cut my Springer spaniel hair myself. The first nice day of weather will Be now the grass, the second will be shave the dog. He is starting to resemble a sheep. But I live in a pretty, but cold old cottage, so he doesn’t mind being floofy for a couple of months.
    But when he is done – after the battle of the grinch paws- I will tell him he looks bootiful & he will prance around the garden like a slightly short & sticky gazelle. Whilst I’m clearing up enough dog fur to create two Yorkshire terriers. ❤

  27. Love Tula's voice! I'm also glad to find out that I'm not the only one who makes voices for the Paw People who live in my house. There are 5 of them, so there's a whole lot of voices going on all the time (AKA, talking to myself a lot). It's a place to be…most of the time.
