So as far as I understand Germany has a project but it's not approved yet. Are there any news on this my fellow german stoners ? Has your government already voted for the project and it was finally approved and issued a new law or is it still in progress ?
Being german i think this is the right thing. I also really like that they want to do more for harm reduction for alcohol because its normal for teenagers to get very drunk every weekend. I personaly hope that it will be possible for people to grow their own bud with like a limit for how many plants they can have, but honestly i dont think that will be a possibility.

It will most probably be sold in pharmacies but that doesn't mean there won't be coffeeshops. You just have to buy your weed beforehand.

Some intel from a German: Regarding the legal question at the moment: as the rules haven’t been changed yet weed is still illegal. In our police system, the police has to interfere with any illegal act and are not allowed to wager if it is necessary or not. They have to enforce the rules. Probably there will be more chill cops now but you still shouldn’t be too public with it.

Good video Drew, there is no "legal limbo" btw its still illegal and nothing has changed yet. they basically released a statement of intent that they want to legalize but the status quo so far hasnt changed. and knowing our politicans what they say and what they end up doing are often different things. but maybe Im just jaded Ive been hearing legalization is just around the corner for about 20 years now.
till no legalize comes out, everyone will be arested like before, especially those caught smoking outside, you cant know for sure if they will allow to smoke on the streets, or from what age, and will they dismiss all the cannabis charges in their country? how long will it take to do this, or open dyspensaries or whatever they wanna open, many eu countries had/have problems with recieving enough medical bud for the people in need, and are very slow in changing it. Everyone is just scared that other countries will look on them like on drug sellers, like the rest of the world it just needs a push, and finally Germany made the first step, and anyway its fantastic.
I think it’s really sad that they are only legalizing it in Germany and not also in Austria 🙁
