Prohibition has always been about protecting profit margins/the status quo, it's sad that it's taken the American public so many decades to figure this out and countless lives have been needlessly destroyed.
Weeds legal here in Washington state. Its fantastic, no longer do I have to worry about getting ripped off, or just flat out robbed of my money from some dealer that I don't really even want to associate myself with. Sales taxes paid, quality control, weight control (in terms of grams), and happy customer service.
