Animal Cookies is just an original pheno of gsc. cookie fam crossed a hermied cherrypie kush s1(what they call their f1durban) to their florida og kush. thats how we have all these different phenos of gsc: platinum, animal,forum,blue,berners cut, snowman,the y, and thin mint. OGKB is a direct descendant of cherrypie kush and not a cookie cross or pheno. they all share similar terps but all come from CPK line.
Cherrypie Kush was bred by a guy named George from Laytonville,Ca (emerald triangle is world famous for breeding elite strains). The genetics are durban poison x gdp(or possibly a mendo purp) x chemdawg.
One day, Berner sent jigga with 3 others to buy packs of CPK but the breeder said not to call it that since the genetics weren’t stable(tended to herm due to the chem side). Upon arrival berner said it smelled like cookies. They found seeds, grew them out, they hermied and pollinated their gdp and florida og. Theyre pollen hacks claiming they bred cookies when really the took someone else’s work and claimed they bred something legendary.

Tried it for the 1st time and I passed out an hour later. I think the indica gene of OG is too dominant in this strain. All in all pretty good tho if you're looking for a heavy high.
