  1. dude if thats propane youre an idiot. dont use propane torches on titanium butane only. propane gets too hot. buy yourself a little ass creme bru le torch and be done with it.

    titanium when heated to red heat apparently creates a coating on the surface that is carcinogenic. and it also makes it harder to heat up any quartz ceramic or glass pieces you have.

    if you are going to use propane then be careful not to heat it up too much. also while red hot may be what you guys call a red nail, its actually highly unlikely is red hot, heated metal will look different colors in different types of light. this is why black smiths usually always work in similar lighting conditions either always the same light or a dark workshop, so colors can be tricky but basically if you are out in direct sun light and that nail looks red dont touch it. if its a dark room and it looks red thats fine. the brighter it is the harder it is to tell color. though if the nail ever appears to be white hot, wait for it to cool down then chuck it in the trash.

    honestly most people probably shouldnt use titanium, even in other hobbies people dont know enough about it, like in bmx for example i know loads of people who fucked titanium parts but not using coppaslick or titanium grease. or having titanium touch aluminium and cold weld. most people should probably just buy a quartz banger or oil burner(oil burners are now what people call meth pipes, they were originally for smoking oil, you can still get them made for that with glass on glass joints.) but with an oil burner you can also still keep heating the shit while the oil is inside the bubble, meaning giant dabs are super easy to hit, just get a jet lighter or regular lighter and hit the bottom of it while a carb cap is on top. oil burners also hold heat really well in my experience.

    it can also be hard to be sure of if a nail is safe to use, you hear alot of conflicting shit, like dont use anything but grade 1 or 2, but ive also heard not all grade 1 and 2 work, there is aerospace grade 1 and 2 and medical and other grades, apparently only medical grade 1 and 2 works but someone else told me medical grade 1 through 4 are fine, and grade 1 and 2 from other industries are fine. i mean i have a titanium nail, but i just think quartz is probably better for most people and you can get pretty nice quartz bangers for way cheaper then a decent titanium nail costs, and then you dont have to deal with domes and itll be cheaper then a good quality domeless ti nail. i also think those 2 piece universal ceramic nails are awesome, if the head breaks just replace that part, if the slide section breaks replace that.

  3. appreciate the info, just got into the dabs, the info was really helpful. i am such an amature and ran into the exact scenario, and i just knew something wasnt right. i am new at dabs, and i knew that when others dabbed me up, i was getting super blitzed, but whenever i through down a big booger, i just wasnt getting it. i realized two things that you covered, the nail wasnt hot enough and or i let it get too cool, and i had no carb cap

Basically quickly explaining what a dab rig is, how its different then a bong, what a titanium nail is ,, or glass, what to use, what supplies are a you going to need, suggestions on torches, info,
    I love all your reviews on the craziest weed in the world and stuff, but some of us ,, even though im a medical marijuana patient, i have to choose 1 of 10 "licensed producers", and if i don't like them, i cant switch. so it sucks, right now, were only allowed "dried bud"
    But oil is coming and our new Prime Minister promised legalization. Well see. Anyways ya, us newbies dont even know where to start. Can we even buy full kits? theres so many different types, male female, arm, ect ect , why are dab rigs like 100$? thanks so much bro! im getting those cannabanoids deep into my system lol

Best video answering this question I could find…thanks for the clear info, you helped me address something about dabbing I have been trying to for a while (the nail cooling off and it pooling and slowly smoking), and explained it intuitively, what more could this video have offered me? nothing.
