Isopropylalkohol vaporizes without residue so you're safe to use that for cleaning, too, as long as you let it dry enough!
My glass got stuck… Olive works very well in preventing that.

I'm seeing that the heat lamp breaks the glass part when it snaps into place.
Try hot water! Not boiling, but not just warm either.. sounds backwards, but trust me. I prefer it over cold or ice water actually.
