Hi guys, Just wondering when you will be doing an updated review/how it works video for the Ascent? Love the videos, very in depth, keep em coming, thanks.
@bearklau The #GPen is a great #vaporize for oils and concentrates and we've heard that there is going to be an exciting release of a new product soon as well! Stay tuned for that, it looks like it'll be big!
@Thebrosephone the vapour quality of the #Ascent by @Davinci Vape is very good, but the #Arize Solo still takes the cake when it comes to this category. It is much smoother and tastier. That being said the Ascent still comes in at a very very close second when it comes to vapour quality!
A appreciate a very thorough review, def. Earned my subscription. Keep up the quality work. I will def. Send some of my sceptic new friends to vaporizers this way when they might want a suggestion / 101 about portable vaporizers. Thanks!
Great review man. Recently came across your site – would be cool if you guys had a store to talk and check out the products before buying online, as I'm in the GTA too. New to the vape scene and am looking into purchasing a unit soon – would you recommend springing for the Solo, or holding out until this is available? Really digging the portability of the Ascent. Keep up the great work – both to you and your team.

But there's more. The Ascent is also a more advanced unit. It has the same motion sensor as the PAX with the added advantage of a digital display, temperature control and customizable vape cycles. Not to mention the very unique shell designs, that were created to fit your personality and lifestyle. We'd pick the Ascent and it is really worth the wait. Whether this is your first vape or you want a new vape for your collection, this is a must-have unit for sure.
Awesome question and one that a lot of connoisseurs are asking. We'll be posting a blog comparing these two units in the upcoming weeks, but here is the short version: the PAX is very high maintenance with limited battery life (approximately 30-40 minutes) and only decent vapour quality (warm and harsh). The Ascent is a low maintenance unit offering 2 hours of battery and great vapour quality (glass-on-glass, long-wave heat). On those three categories the Ascent wins by far ;).
If you had to compare the Pax by Ploom and the Davinci Ascent, what would you say are the dividing features? Which vape would you go with based on your experience with both products?
You get slightly better vapour quality with the Solo on all temperature settings (low and high), because of the unique and high quality design of Arizer's heating chamber. However, DaVinici's Ascent does beat the Solo on the categories of discreetness, portability and battery life! Be sure to check out our blog at blog.torontovaporizer.ca for more details on the Ascent and the SHOWDOWNS against other units, to see which portable comes out on top!
Awesome review, Thank you! But I have a quick question, you mentioned that there were a few dedicated pen style vapes for concentrates that worked well and that 90% of them were trash. What are those few pen style vapes for concentrates that you would recommend?
I can't wait for another review! Between the Ascent and the original Da Vinci, I'm struggling on my choice. I wonder if you cn use the Ascent with the power supply plugged in.
Best Vaporizer ever😊😊😊👌👍
that was a great review, thank u
I am able to find the measurement specs on the bowl but do you know approx how much ground up botanical the bowl holds?
I love this vaporizer.
Great review. Thanks

You sure can!
can you use it while its charging?
How would you compare the vapor quality of the Ascent to the Solo at lower settings, i.e.185C?
so far how would compare this with the DaVinci Vaporizer?
