THE DOG COULD BE IN PAIN. THE SYMPTOMS ARE SIMILAR AND THEY ALSO STARE AT WALLS AND GET TRAPPED. MY DOCHEUND HAD A BAD BACK AND COULDNT WALK GOOD. THE PAIN MADE HIM LILE THIS. HE ALSO HAD PROSTATE TUMOR. BLEEDING OUT THE URETHRA, ANTI INFLAMMATORY STOPPED THE EEDING BUT THEY NEED A STRONG PAIN RELIEVER . YOU MAY HAVE DIFFICULTY FINDING A VET THAT WILL RX A PAIN MED. THEY PREFER TO ANTI INFLAMM AS PAIN MEDS BUT THEY ARE NOT.
My dog is going to be 18 on Christmas Day. Just got Diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease in July . We do fluids at the vet every other days and since she has been completely stable as when diagnosed. I just switched her to homemade food from a dog nutritionist, and the first 3 days as soon as we started she severely was declining, she was on balance it Caine k plus, and was also supposed to be on fish oil, however I gave her 2 drops 1 time a few weeks prior and since then, she now bleeds every time during fluids for a few mins, so I don’t feel comfortable putting her on a triple dose 3xs a day. I don’t think it agrees with her. So I immediately took her off the homemade food and got the Nutro food in that she has been on her entire life, with a day and a half of going back to the Nutro I slowly got her back and now she’s back to where I had hee except during that something happened to where her dementia severely got worse. I have no idea what would have caused that, but I also don’t think the balance it supplement agreed with her, she had diarrhea a few hours after eating the homemade food. I talked to my vet about the dementia and all the one doc said was the medications has serious side effects. I don’t know what to do with her. She sleeps but the past 2 nights she had a really hard time at 4am with severe circling. I need to do something with her, can you please help me, I’ll pay anything, I don’t care, I’m desperate. Her mom lived till 26 and her dad 23.
What about dementia or senility in cats what do I give them.

He is to old to take solid tablets, and if I try them with him, the poor thing gets so distressed and anxiety kicks in for hours! I just need a supplement (liquid that I can syringe orally to him) I’m begging you all, please advice me if you know of such a holistic drug! Thanks!
My 15 yr old female Sheltie seems to hv all d above syndrome. Recently has to put on diapers for incontinence. She still can eat n drink well, back legs r getting weaker. I am sad n dunno how long she can be with me.
My dog has been this way for some time he is also blind and unwilling to walk outside on walks anymore. He will use the bathroom outside lay or follow me in the yard if I'm doing something but doesn't seem the like walks he just sits down. Maybe because he knows he is not to go into the street as soon as he gets on the sidewalk he just stops. I am also unable to leave him alone without him barking or yelping until I return home he does ok if my roommate is home but bairly. What should I do
Doctor this scares me. Phobie has some of these symptoms but she's only 8, she's half english bulldog and half terrier. We have been truely blessed so far with her health. I wanted to get ur supplement about year ago but so hard even for me on 741 a month. But I'll try to find away. Thank u

My 8.5 year old basset hound, Rhubarb, forgets that I fed her. I put food in her dish…she eats some & then comes to me prancing around like she wants her dinner until I show her her dish…she happily finishes it. She does this every evening for the last 2 or 3 months.

hey I am wanting to know my Pekingese is not eating he is just drinking water and puking it back up he refuses to eat and has been keeping me and my husband awake he had diarrhea and that was only for the first while now since he will not eat he is just puking up his water my husband thinks that he is at his last breath that he is dying and he is only 10 years old and he won't eat anything we even tried a technique that we heard about a dog that is not eating when they are sick white rice and chicken boiled together we tried that and he won't even eat that is there a way that you can please help us
