  1. I wouldn't remove those doors I would leave them existing but just secure the one side that the desk is going to be on with pin locks so it leaves you the option of having that wide Open door for moving equipment in and out … Small openings are frustrating when moving

  2. if you guys are using ac i vented outside and it is a nightmare now it never cuts out so i sugest you do a sealed room and add c02 keeps the cost down i think now

  3. I love the videos. I'm from West Michigan tooi had a channel I stopped was to much keeping up with the worm's you guys got me into growing an using my casting thank you my old channel is Big Lyles Worms keep your videos coming

  4. The only thing I cannot figure out is why the insulation under that specific area. Heat, cool, sound? What is above it? Black idea for thee tent half I like and from the downste beam to the wall sort of a finisher industrial look. Double to single door now prob. Prob but easily solved is have you thought about where you are going to drain the sink?

  5. so my first suggestion is called a mathews baby wall plate. It is a permanent hard point for putting up a studio light. I love my c-stands but they have a huge footprint. I'm lazy so i just left them deployed for about 5 years. maybe a rod with a light tight curtain. set of extension tubes for the camera. some sort of rubber to seal the door. purely to keep out cat hair and dander. i'm sure i'll think of something else at a wierd time

  6. I think sticking with tents is the way to go in general. They're much easier to manage and would allow you to work on multiple projects at once. Especially with all the work and planning that goes into a grow room. What was once a fun hobby could quickly turn into a not so fun full time job.

  7. Why vent out at all I see no reason to ur just gonna be pumping heat right out side I got 4 tents 2 2×2 a 3×3 and a 4×8 in my bedroom in an apartment and I dont vent out at all and there is a window I could vent but like I said ur gonna be pumping heat outside and forget about adding co2 if you ever want to id just go with a closed system 🙃

  8. The house looks great guys the room is huge when you're doing your duck for your tents combined all the tents with the same duck run the controller 69 to run them all and just do a whole up and out or through your wall and out can't wait to see what the rooms going to look like congratulations guys much love

  9. Stick with tents,a big room like that would take some serious setting up to control environment, at least you only haft to remove wood and plaster boards, took me a day just to remove a small partition brick wall in my home lol,, good luck folks,

  10. I would cover the roof but not until your set on where your hanging all your accessories. Until you make the room just paint the roof. Once you deceide to move to a full room then cover it once you mapped out all your hangers.

  11. Convert from traditional insulation to vapor barrier insulation boards. It'll protect from mold and mildew but still insulate your space taking up less room than fiber insulation.

Also wrap all of the water pipes and electrical pipes in insulation. Shielded insulation for electrical and vapor barrier for the water pipes.

It'll keep the pipes from interfering with environment or other electrical stuff you have going on in there.

As far as that support beam in the ceiling give it a good paint job before you wrap it up. At least a Killz primer base coat to protect it from mold, mildew, and dry rot. That higher seedling and veg humidity plus all the water that's going to be spilled around in there should be accounted for in your decisions.

All of this stuff you can easily do yourselves without needing a contractor.

  12. I would get 3 cloudline s6 kits instead of one bigger kit this way all the tents can be independent like if you were to dry in one tent. 3 duct to 1 adapter exhaust to outside. 3 is much better for temp and humidity control. I have a whole room dehumidifier and getting a in tent humidifier in case I need it. If you run 1 unit then def I would get the 10inch fan

  13. I think the extra size of the door might end up being beneficial because of what the room is for. Especially if you plan on moving stuff indoors and outdoors. I think a big sliding door would be cool

  14. congratulations 🎊 good luck with the remodeling sometimes you run in to bad luck so best of luck to your family's coming together as one in a great new spot. I only seen your videos and I have tons of ideas if it was my space lol. Beautiful land to live on

  15. I think a good idea for the ceiling would be to use the 4×8 plastic paneling that is used for shower walls. It's reasonably priced, easy to clean, lightweight and waterproof. Just get some of the joint strips that cover the Crack between the panels and use some type of caulking to seal it up

  16. Try with the exhaust to tie in to a roof vent flue, kitchen flue, or even a dryer duct from a manifold or like an A/C plenum, that is, if you have multiple tents. Just thinking out loud how I'd do it. I'm sure there's a better idea out there somewhere. Awesome rooms ! Nice move guys!

  17. My only advice is do it right the first time. DO NOT hire a contractor without some sort of reputation or references. It can really turn into a nightmare. oh and being up north you should definitely keep the insulation. It will make a big difference up and downstairs. Congrats on the new place!!
