  1. they already do this in bristol they tried to make me do it but i said id go to court as i got reasons i smoke it and they dropped it due to matters of public intrest

  2. He is just going through the motions I saw the interview and spotted the deliberate piece of disinformation he slipped in,, he said "I am aware that Canada and some US states have 'decriminalized' it but we are not ready to go down that route because of the 'harm' cannabis causes"
First of all he was talking out of his Boris, or are we to believe that a man in his position doesn't know the difference between decriminalize and legalize, if he doesn't then he should at least get his facts right before he tries to play the cool guy by basically doing FA but wants to sound like he's making some sort of radical change on the media.
Canada and some US states have NOT "decriminalized" decriminalization means you would still get your stuff confiscated and would only avoid a criminal record by agreeing to go on some bullshit course to be lectured by people who believe they know it all,
Legalization means as an adult you can just pop into the local weed shop and buy some weed without fearing some ignorant brainwashed copper giving your collar a tug.
Why is it that we are allowed (encouraged) to use the biggest killing highly addictive recreational drug in the world, alcohol (drink aware folks) but get treated like low life scumbags if our drug of choice is one that has been used by humanity for longer than alcohol? (our bodies are actually designed to use cannabis)
Alcohol the biggest killer recreational drug there is but is the only one we are trusted to use 'sensibly'

  3. this is kind of what they do in Portugal, it's still illegal but in a different way. They don't have criminal charges, but they do confiscate your drugs and put you on mandatory (albeit free) drug abuse prevention courses if you are caught in possession on the streets, with a heavy emphasis on abstinence. Still not what you expect when the "gold standard portugal decrim. model" is mentioned in conversation.

  4. i think its more important than that. i think this is the politicians putting their foot in the water to see the reaction of people, hidden in a trial. gauging public opinion is very important

  5. I see a scenario – in the words of Khan, “We tried to decriminalise it but associated crime and use increased so we have to keep it illegal!”

  6. about 20 years ago a friend of mine's house was raided, the local newspaper headline was……HOUSE RAID. MAN FOUND WITH CANNABIS STREET VALUE 70p he had a spliffs worth of hash …..i shit ye not…..

  7. i got caught with a 3.5 feds made me do an online course it cost £20 i just spammed left click till it was over it took 5 mins and everything on the course was complete waffle

  8. I think I’m right in saying that the mayor of London has the power to tell the oldbill not to bother with cannabis (and other things as long as it doesn’t affect national security) they have to listen, in effect he’s there boss.
Please correct me if I’m wrong🙂🙏☮️🕉🕉
