  1. Your videos are informative, educational and your calm voice is rather soothing. I know you can bathe cats. I have fostered about 25 in the last year and I have had to bathe many of them. However, my own cat, "Mookie Du" ( aka The Blue Moose) shredded my arms, tore the shower curtain down, climbed my bathroom cabinets, and tore a shelf out of the wall. That was 2 years ago and he was 6 months old at the time. That was my only attempt at bathing him for obvious reasons. He is not aggressive just terrified of baths. He desperately needs a bath due to fleas. And I still have nightmares about the last attempt. What can I do? Please help me help him. 🙏

  2. 🤣🤣🤣 The dog sits there he’s a real trooper! He looks at the camera and looks at what you’re doing and looks at the camera I mean he’s a star!⭐️😂

  3. Dear Doctor. Maybe you can add btms 50 to help mix the water and oil and they will create smooth creamy lotion and it will disperse naturally in water.
I make mix of btms 50 and coconut oil and small amount of castille soap to make face wash.
    Thankyou for your informative education.
    Sincerely.

  4. Which neem oil should I buy? I saw reviews of a few on Amazon and people wrote that they had severe allergic reactions. I'm scared for my cat getting any sort of allergy, we don't hv good veterans in my city

  5. Great recipe!!! FYI, when your pet has fleas, wetting them down first with plain water gives the fleas time to escape. ALWAYS APPLY SOAP FIRST (traps the fleas so you can drown them!), THEN water. Also, they'll get cold during that 10 minute wait time unless you cover them with a warm, wet cloth. Towels are generally too heavy; you can use fleece, old dish towels, or cloth diapers (which absorb water amazingly well – I use them on my hair, too!) You can also cut up an old sheet, pillowcase t shirt, curtains, etc (depending on the animal's size, of course).

If you're a homeowner, applying beneficial nematodes to your property annually isn't expensive and WORKS. We've also had pretty good results with FleaTreats (as long as all the animals eat them twice/day). We've got 6 cats, 2 dogs and are surrounded by wooded lots (and wildlife from squirrels to coyotes) on two sides. We also use diatomaceous earth (must be food grade – NOT from pool store).

  6. Any advise on how to get rid of fleas on a kitten who is still too young for frontline or whatever to get rid of them? I have been trying to get it for the past few days, I will see one crawling around just about every day. But, I guess cat fur it too thick to get it! I makes me nervous to leave them there because he loves to lay on me when sleeping (on my head🤣).

  7. My little terrier is long haired. Ive found he doesnt pick up fleas as long as I shave around his bottom end, under his tail, the base of it and back legs. It doesnt seem to matter about the rest. If I find one, its on the bottom when he's over due a shave. Apple Cider Vinegar, coconut oil and a flea comb seems to do the trick. We're over the woods every night, he follows animal trails…who knows what he's doing in those bushes! But he's been fine since I shave his bum 🙂

  8. I saw someone ask if Dawn dish detergent was okay to use. You did not answer would you please let us know. I know they clean oil off of sea mammals and birds. I know when I put my flea comb with fleas and water and Dawn it kills the fleas. I'm a new subscriber thank you for your videos but I did not see any reply saying if this worked for them.

  9. Hello Dr. Jones, thank you for this video.
I have a question: Can I make a spray without the castle soap and apply it directly to my cat's fur? I find it difficult to give them a bath.
    Thank you, love.
