  1. Cough started yesterday intermittently, today every time my border collie black lab mix gets excited. Made an appt for tomorrow, the earliest they could get us in. Rushed to the store to get this stuff and seems to make an immediate impact! You sir, have provided more relief than you know. Thank you so much.

  2. Dr. Jones, I just started with you and I'm trying your coughing mixture for Rosie. Now, I have a 4lb. teacup Chihuahua who is 10 and has rotten fish breath. When she yawned I looked in her mouth and all teeth look good. But, it's awful and I'm afraid to go to a Vet who will want to put her to sleep. Can you help?

  3. Dr. Jones just watched your video on gagging/coughing for dogs. Thank you so much!!!! I'm going to try this on Rosie who is 8lbs./10yrs. I will keep you posted. Thank you for caring so much about our little love bugs. Dawna Enders….new to your site.

  4. Our 11 1/2 year old 10 lb. Schnoodle has been coughing for almost a week. She's a non shedding dog and does not lick herself so furball is out if the question. She does have a heart murmur since a puppy, we knew that but always fit and normally active. We have been keeping track her coughing & recently putting it down to excitement, that triggers the cough. The vet could find nothing wrong with her, other than her heart murmur. We gave her honey last night two separate times. She coughed once a bit. We'll continue and see how it goes. I was also going to get your 3 suggestions and CoQ10. Vet said her heart was stage 5 out of 6.

  5. I thought my dog had a foxtail in her throat. She was coughing & coughing & panting, drooling & very upset. After 2 hours of this I called the vet. It was Memorial Day & all 3 emergency vets were not taking any patients. No one would see her. I mixed together your recipe & gave it to her with a 3cc syringe & some CBD. I dosed her every 15 minutes for 3 doses & she was so much better. Then every time she started coughing I gave her a dose. That night she slept through the night. In the morning she was not coughing but drooling a lot & felt really unwell. The Vet scoped her esophagus. She did not have a sticker but her entire throat, soft pallet, etc was extremely red & swollen. They gave her a cortisone shot for the swelling & I continued to give her your honey, slippery elm & dandelion mixture. Today -2days later she seems fine. She had been eating grass to make herself throw up, which she did but then she kept eating more grass & throwing up & then she seemed frantic & was trying to eat the rose bush…she made herself vomit 4 times-huge amounts of grass. The vet thinks all of that is was caused the damage in her throat. Thank you for your helpful video.

  6. My boy is 8 years old, 80 pounds, and does a similar sound to choking or something caught in his throat when he drinks water. It started about a month ago. He generally comes to me to pat his side and it stops. I don't feel any lump in his throat and he still eats and takes his daily vitamin without a problem. My two girls, his sisters, ages 8 and 7 don't have this issue.
He was stung 3 years ago on the neck by a hornet and began having problems breathing. I ran to the medicine cabinet and gave him a 1/2 antihistamine tablet. He has been fine since then. Could he have been stung again?
The water dish is on the floor, would it maybe help to raise it up so he can swallow easier??

  7. My dog, a BostonSchnauzer , coughed up a hair ball, it was long , aprox 3 1/2 inches long. He does chew his nails. And a shedding long haired dog lives here and his furs on the water dish. =Ingesting fur/hair does happen. A long human hairs often linking feces . idn, right? wrong? And thankyou because based on your advice , i see his collars pushing in at his throat often, and perhaps a cause, THANKYOU.

  8. My pittie starts coughing like this during the spring (or, where I live, whenever winter decides to leave. 🙄), so I’m wondering if it’s allergies. Her vet said she was fine, but it still concerns me sometimes.

  9. Hello there! New subscriber! I have 3 Beagle/dachshund mix fur babies and all of them have the kennel cough during season change so I will try the honey! Thank you! I also have a question, 2 out of the 3 have seizures if they eat human food (any of it) and I try my best but my kids leave crumbs. Is there anything a vet could do to prevent them or to lessen the frequency of them? I get scared everytime they have one and I just sit by them and hold their head and Whisper to them until it's over. I don't want to lose them!!! They're only 6 and 5 years old! Please HELP with your response. Thank you and God bless!

  10. Dr. Jones,
We just rescued a dog that was heartworm positive and recently finished his treatments. As he is coming of the prednisone he has a little cough, but my question is what supplements and tinctures can we give him to support his health best since he had heartworm? Hawthorne? Dandelion? Please let me know what regimen you would recommend!
