  1. I prefer freshly baked bread with my encebollado over chifles. Every time I go back to the motherland I load up on my local dishes. Caldo de salchicha, encebollado, etc. Glad to see munchies do a piece on Ecuador.

  2. Belleza la gastronomía de mi Ecuador chucha 🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤👌👌👌👌🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🇪🇨🥘🥘🥘👌

  3. Encebollado a base de pescado y yuca suave. ..

  4. I remember my uncle sending me and my cousin out to buy this and guitig after a heavy night of drinking. Being in the US since 5 damn I miss having good encebollado, I always liked it with fresh bread instead of chifles.

  5. Shouts out to the Ecuadorian people for representing inspire of all the abuse and corruption. There’s something special about being grounded at the center of the earth nenas

  6. who are these people? weird for someone to make encebollado at home?!?! I'VE ONLY HAD IT AT HOME! it's not that hard to make, it just takes time! im so confused! and my family is from Guayaquil. AND NOONE USED AJI' PERUANO?!?!?! (yes this is an ecuadorian condiment!!!) this is blasphemous!!!! AND SWORDFISH!?!??! YOU USE FRESH TUNA FOR ENCEBOLLADO. WTF WTF! encebollado DOES NOT have ginger. Chiflez? wtf? my mom and tias would go crazy over this! PS: that picture of ceviche is peruvian not the ecuadorian version.

Saludos .

  8. 🤤 I've had the broth only and let me say it was one of the most delicious soups I've ever had. I'm a vegetarian (15 years now) and did not eat the fish but man that broth packs some flavor 😋 and the plantain chips are so thin and crispy. A lady from Brooklyn sell these on Sunday's and by 9 am she was out of them! Plus she'd give out those little crunchy corn kernels (I don't know the name) I don't know if she still sells 🤔 this was years ago 🤷🏽‍♀️💕
