If the cigar is dry and crispy simply dunk it under running water then spread the water evenly over the dry cigar so the whole exterior is wet then allow it to rest and absorb the water. Once the water on the outside is absorbed and the blunt looks damp start unraveling. If it's still crispy on the inside just unroll it a bit and dunk it again until u got the guts out then soak the leaf and let it dry it will be like a fresh damp wood again. Lol backwoods are 16 dollars a pack here so we dont like wasting em.
