  1. Thank you for this video. My vet got really upset with me when I mentioned I add some raw food to my dog’s diet. I also mainly cook for him and my vet was worried about imballanced diet, then wanted to sell me a service that would charge me over $500 for advice on home cooked food. I was surprised that they could advise me to feed him some highly processed junk and be so “worried” about home cooked and raw. Once my vet eats cheerios every day for every meal for a decade and they have perfect health, I’ll believe them about the benefits of processed food

  2. Anyone with critical thinking that’s paying attention can see the FDA can be bought! It’s been like that for probably decades!
I will never trust the FDA, CDC, any government agency or big corporation!
I’ll educate myself, then make my own decision!

  3. Hi Dr. Jones,

I have a Parson Russell Terrier. He’s 14 months old. He’s been on a raw diet since about 4 months of age. Today he went in to be neutered and had preoperative blood tests. The vet discovered that his Alt liver enzymes are a little high (140), so she is now suggesting that I gentle boil my dog’s raw dog food to remove any raw pathogens which she suspects are causing the increased enzyme levels? Your thought on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Stay safe!

  4. It's like humans have been told for years that a meat diet is bad for you and causes cancer and heart disease. My family as well as I have eaten it all our lives and lived to their 80s & 90s.
The FDA is likely paid off millions of dollars by the big pet food companies to look the other way. Money talks.

  5. I thought dogs can’t get sick from salmonella because they naturally have it in their gut flora? Also I read that FACTS Aare that Theres more cases of kibble found to be contaminated with salmonella than raw food 🤔
Regardless we feed raw and have done for almost all my dogs life and we wean our puppies onto raw food too theres nothing cuter than watching puppies play tug of war with a duck wink 😂
