  1. My pup just passed away on May 1st 2022, and his brother hasn't ever been alone, and I feel like I can't even leave the house to go to the dr {im very very sick}
actually watched this to see if there was a tip to keep him not lonely…. now I'm sad it wasn't…

  2. Absolutely 🥺my last trip was to Europe for two weeks. I really felt guilty when I was in Italy the Italians had stores and restaurants had sections that allowed pets . I did a video call 😊but he only understood hearing my voice. That was 5 years ago …no trips since then.

  3. I had to go to hospital, and to find a solution for 3 dogs.. … I found a very good dog pension, I brought them before always a day, for to make them know the people and the place and to give them the assurance, that I come and get them. It costed a lot of money, but gave me and them a quite time, they felt well.

  4. My dogs & cats!! Edit: I should've mentioned I am a pet sitter also. Doing it now for a lady that's never left her Yorkies more than a day. The smallest 1 is depressed 😔

  5. We have a Moodle dog, 17 years old and he is so attached to us. Especially with Covid around for two years. Now we have to visit London to help our daughter who is expecting twins in June
I cook his food at home. He is very spoilt with his food. He is very healthy and walks for 45 minutes everyday. Luckily we have found a home for our Snoop in Adelaide w
Which is 22 hours away from us.We are leaving him for a long period for the first time. Now we have to decide which is the best way to transport him.
Praying that he stays healthy and happy with our friends.

  6. I am there today my birthday is coming up Saturday I really want to go out of town for the weekend but am deciding just to stay home with them My oldest is 12 this year I just keep thinking if I’m not here and she has a seizure or worse passes away……

  7. My german shepherd gets up to follow me even if I go to the next room. We are inseparable. I build furniture, she is right there w me watching and trying to get me to play. When I go to my part time job she hates it. On cold snow or rainy days I bring her with me coz she jumps at the open car door to come with me but on any day above 60°f I wont keep her in the car, shady spots only do so much and they cant sit in a car too long. But I cant have an 8 hour/day job and I dont know what to do. She has huge anxiety if left at home. I built her a luxury crate, large roomy bright and a memory foam bed. She freaks out

  8. That’s why we have an RV, take your camper AND your pet!
Most dogs love camping and being in the outdoors even more because we are generally outdoors even more! Everyone is relaxed because we have no worries about how things are going with our pets.

  9. The only time I felt comfortable leaving my pets was with a professional pet sitter who came to my home twice a day.
I Never left my dog though. If I couldn’t take her, I wouldn’t go. She was a beautiful, 4pound, longhaired Chihuahua who traveled the world with me.
I miss her so much. It still breaks my heart that she is gone. 💔

  10. One of my dogs is going to Denmark soon, with my husband. And no, I don't feel guilty because of her character. She's easy going, very young and basically loves everybody, both dogs and humans. She'll be fine. My other dog is so tiny that I can basically take her anywhere without peope even noticing her.

  11. I'm actually considering missing my sisters wedding because I still can't find a dog sitter. ( just moved to a new town and don't know anybody, have no car and the wedding is 2500 miles away)
Don't understand why animals aren't allowed on Amtrak.

  12. YES! It really break my heart when i want to go for vacation, i don't trues anyone and my 2 dogs they both to attach to me. they also can't go along with other dogs too. oh dear! 🙁

  13. Dogs have to be fully vaccinated to stay at a boarding center. And my birds would need to have $1000s worth of blood work, even my old 25gm parakeet who would likely die from a draw that big. Since I lost a cat to vaccine induced sarcoma, I have established new priorities. Safer and cheaper to rent a van and take all with, or don't go at all.

  14. I l never travel. Once I retired my cat got used to my company even if she is most if the time asleep . But if when I leave she misses me even for few hours of shoping. She is the most important soul in my life. We help each other. Travel can be done safely on net nowadays.

  15. My next door neighbor recently left town for 5 weeks and left his 17 yr. old terrier/chihuahua mix home ALONE, thinking it was fine to have a neighbor just check on him 4x/day. I'll never speak to that man again.

  16. Absolutely. I’m struggling with that right now. Have a trip coming up and my cat, who needs meds twice a day, and my Pom present a problem. I’m thinking of taking them with me and staying a a pet friendly hotel and visit with my friends when I can. Even with that arrangement it’s hard because it involves a six hour drive in each direction. 😟

  17. I left my dog once at a boarding place. He was bullied by other dogs and came back limping and unable to bark. Since then, he's always been with me. If he can't go somewhere, I won't go.

  18. The only nights I've ever spent away from my baby is whenever she stayed in the hospital (so 5 total). When we went to visit my boyfriend's parents, they made the dogs sleep in the garage. Guess who else slept in the garage that night? Darn right, I did.
