  1. Fast and authentic British fish & chip recipe. takes less than 30 minutes from prep to serving.
    Firstly get your fish ( no seasoning ) dip it in your batter mix.
    Batter mix recipe.
    1 cup self-raising flour.

    1/2 tsp salt.

    1 cup (250ml) soda water, or beer (cold)
    Make sure to use beef dripping I believe Tallow is what Americans call beef dripping.
    and turn the heat up high ,
    once dripping is bubbling add the fish. Chips ( peel and cut a potato in strips and add to the dripping with the fish.)
    Once cooked add salt and vinegar serve a slice a lemon .

  2. It's sad to see a Englishman stoop to pronouncing their words like an American. That weird middle ground accent. Either stick to your roots or adapt the full Yank accent mate.

  3. Yeah, I'm from Melbourne, Victoria and I keep being called "British" so I know how this guy feels. I guess Melbournians and Sydneysiders have particularly British tinges to our voices.
