Your advice regarding the glandular trichomes being at their peak in THC when amber is incorrect. The amber colour in the trichomes is when they have begun Oxidising and that is the degradation stage. This is where THC levels drop and it converts into CBN (sedative)
So flowering occurs when you put your plants in the dark ?!
