I only watched 30 min so far so there might be an edit. All this talk makes me think about what it must be like for individual stores/companies in Saskatchewan trying to hook up with direct-to-retail to get product when all this Gov't bs goes on in other provinces.
There have been minimal drops lately (other than dabbods moonrocks and distillate/resin infused prerolls which kinda suck from my experiences) and all this fire flower doesn't make it's way here anymore. We used to get all the new drops of Habitat but the last thing product I found was the amazing Powdered Doughnuts. Always amazing product coming from that company. Kayla Mann is a great business rep and I hope to see a lot more from her in the future. She really explained the troubles inside the legal cannabis market and I can see why there is a limited supply. #ProjectCraftCa4000sq/ft
I'd love to go into a Spiritleaf in Saskatoon and buy the same sku I could get if I lived in B.C. Even the concentrate side is hurting here. I have seen about 40 new products drop on the OCS since Jan 1, 2022 and 3% of it is available in the province. Gotta be a sucky life being a buyer in a government run institution. I feel for Michael and store owners like him.
I wish I had real answers, but all I have is speculation based on talking with local store managers and gathering credible information watching podcasts like this and hanging out on Reddit AMA's. Hopefully one day we won't have to worry about this crap and we can get what we want legally. I really want to set up a discord with a bunch of like minded people that want to hook others up with sku's we can't get provincially and bypass the legal boundaries without going medical.
Rest in peace Shelter. Shouts out to the micro craft producers pushing out fire! Keep pushing the industry forward. Thanks to everyone!
