  1. Mayo and sweet relish is tarter sauce lol. That's how we do it in RI. Million ways to make Cole slaw. Mostly mayo, celery seeds, shredded cabbage, shredded carrots and sugar. Love fried clams, clam cakes and stuffies. Quick stuffies add caughogs into food processor for 2 quick pulses, add juice mix with savory stove top stuffing crushed, add clam juice if not enough juice. Amazing and fast. Thought I would get a fried clam lol

  2. Did anyone notice the sexual innuendo with the pepper shaker at 3:43 BTW….Fried clams being a New England staple are NOT made with the "clams" she is using. We call them Quahogs here in Massachuseets. They are usally too tough to fry. Here in New England we use "steamer" clams or soft shell. Oysters also can be used for frying, albeit more of a mild taste.

  3. Looks so good. I'm looking to make these on my air fryer. Can you pls advise what I'd have to change in the recipe to make it in air fryer. Also what temp cooking and how long. As you mentioned it should be cooked in high heat for a short time so it doesn't overcook.

  4. I'm confused ? U said this is a New England staple . But in New England they use soft shell clams for fried clams. Aka Ipswich, steamers. I've never seen and clam shack from Maine to Connecticut ever use these for Fried Clams .

  5. Don't understand why people buy, sell, catch, kill, cook species that are going extinct.
Maybe if there were more educational resources, etc. people would realize just how many sea creatures are going extinct. There should be laws prohibiting the sale and capture of these creatures. That would be the perfect solution to end extinction.

On a positive note, this was a good video.

  6. I missed this a year ago don't know how. Damm girl it all looked fantastic. Never been a big fan of tartar sauce but what you made looks very interesting. And celery seed in the cole slaw? Oh yea,I'm definitely going to be trying that out. Stay safe and happy, Sicily. 🍷

  7. A lot of religions Lee food at their alters to pay respect to the gods. So leaving food at your grandpas grave site is really a resespectful thing to do. It’s a offering. It’s kind of cool. It’s you showing respect to the person who has passed on. So your mom shouldn’t be mad. It’s a good thing your sister did.

  8. I think you might have the clams backwards. The smaller ones are the Little necks and the big guys are the Cherry stones or sometimes Stuffies. But they are both the same clam just different in size.
